Just returned from yet another stay at Berrington's Barn, AND have two more stays already booked, which goes to show how much we rate and enjoy this property. It's spacious, even though it can easily cater for 4 people, it's just perfect for the two of us. The design, decor, linens, bedding and all other essentials are of top quality and the host, Glyn is great, so helpful, generous, caring and thoughtful. So it's no wonder we have two more weeks booked. There's lots of wild life (and a few beautiful, friendly young bulls in the neighbouring paddock), and the gardens are so incredibly well tended. It's so lovely to spend time out on the patio just watching the hares, numerous species of birds and squirrels. Very relaxing atmosphere. We'll just have to wait a few more months before we return!

Sometimes photos can belie the accuracy of literally anything, but Berringtons Barn was superb in every way.. Our hosts have thought of everything and it was a home from home experience. The quality of the build, furnishings, linens, equipment, kitchenware and was exceptional and we consider this property to be the best 'cottage' we have ever stayed in. It's warm, spacious and comfortable. We want to return soon, but bookings are likely to be difficult to come by as previous visitors have all said the same as us. Lovely place and lovely hosts.

The Barn is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Shropshire countryside.. As with our previous visits, the accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Barn is very well equipped, and the attention to detail meant we wanted for nothing. A warm welcome awaited us by the owner, and the homemade scones, jams and cake was the best way to start our holiday. Our forth holiday, here, is already booked.

Wow! Berrington Barns was just simply idyllic and such an extra special touch of Christmas greeted us on arrival a stunning decorated tree and a tray of scrumptious cakes.. Glyn and Tony are brilliant hosts and the facilities were ridiculously clean overall an amazing stay. Beautiful and cosy and fantastic animals and birds for our children to gaze upon. Locally Market Drayton is a lovely market town lots of history shops and pubs. We would love to stay again.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome.. The owners were great and presented us with a tray of homemade scones and cake to go with a pot of tea. It’s a fantastic barn which is warm and cosy yet very spacious and it was spotless . The barn is a beautiful home with great style . The lovely kitchen was extremely well equipped, it contained everything we needed and more. It was a bonus to have en suite bedrooms and a beautiful well kept garden . A superb place to stay . We had a fantastic week with nice weather . Thank you to the owners .

Berringtons Barn was an amazing place to stay - spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location.. The owners were also exceptional in terms of the homemade goodies they provided on arrival and their general kindness and willingness to share information/provide local knowledge. Definitely a place to return to!

This is a very beautiful, comfortable and well equipped property which was a delight to stay in.. Glyn and Tony are the perfect hosts, and the scones and lemon drizzle cake, on arrival, was much appreciated. The garden is a wonderful place to enjoy, so peaceful and relaxing. We are so happy to know we will return, next year.

This Barn is fab & we have already booked it again.. Plus in all of the many cottages that we have stayed in, no owner has ever made us a pot of tea with treats when we arrived, this was so welcoming after a long journey. Thank you so much.

From the moment we stepped into this barn it was like stepping into a home from home, these guys have done an amazing job renovating this barn the attention to detail is second to none from the cups to the pictures on the wall, every thing is of high standards and we’ve just got to say the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in some lovely hotels over the years but this one gets first prize for cleanliness and feeling like a home rather than just a holiday stay, it’s a great place for exploring from ie: Ironbridge, Coalport China museum , Chester is only 35 miles away too, give Apleys’s farm shop and creamery a go to lovely if you have children as they have donkeys there and a lovely tea room for the grown ups Our hosts Glyn & Tony left us milk homemade jams & marmalade’s and a lovely bowl of fresh fruit which I’m afraid we didn’t do justice to sorry guys. So thank you once again for a lovely week and we will certainly recommend you to all our family and friends, keep up the good work you’re doing great and lots of love to our alarm clock Philip the Pheasant lol

This cottage really has the "wow" factor.. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by our kind hosts with a welcome tea tray full of homemade scones, cake and jams, the week was perfect. There is plenty to do in the area but being able to sit back in such comfortable and beautiful surroundings, looking out into the garden and the fields beyond was a great way to spend the time.

Great accommodation, probably the best we've ever stayed in.. Lovely welcome from the owners and even though the barn is right next to their house, they respect your privacy and you hardly know they're there. Location is quite central to a lot of local attractions, most points of interest are all within half an hours drive and Market Drayton is only 10 minutes away, with enough supermarkets and other retailers to satisfy your day to day shopping needs. Will definitely be returning for another stay!

Absolutely brilliant family holiday at Berringtons Barn.. It's a beautiful barn conversion with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The hosts are lovely, around if you need them but leave you to enjoy your time on your own. We loved the welcome tea and homemade cake, and the fresh fruit. The garden is beautiful and our little boy enjoyed feeding apples to cows.

From the first contact with the owners to arrange keys and entry there was a warm welcome to arriving at the cottage we were welcomed with a guided tour of the cottage and fresh tea and scones and cake (which was very wonderful by the way, home made).. The cottage was very tastefully furnished with all the requirements needed. A very peaceful and tranquil setting in a large fruit bearing tree garden overlooking the local countryside. Would definitely recommend this peaceful retreat (a wee gem).

Wonderful location in a quality facility.. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Only issue is with internet access which for some reason works at times not at others. The owners tried to help with calls to BT but to no avail. This is not a criticism, only a factual statement. Much to see and do around the local area. Highly recommend.

May 2018
Berringtons Barns exceeded our expectations.. It has been exceptionally well converted into a spacious, stylish, comfortable and very well presented immaculate home in a great location, close to a wide variety of attractions. You don't have to travel far to find lots to do - although we got great pleasure from simply sitting in the large garden enjoying the views across the fields, watching the many birds (and listening to their birdsong) - not to mention seeing a hare! The owners seem to have thought of everything in terms of equipment and they were also very considerate and generous hosts, with lots of thoughtful extras - a lovely welcoming tray of tea and home-made scones & cake, and they left us jars of home made jams, a bowl of fruit, fresh flowers and hotel-style toiletries. We felt very welcome and this was one of the best holiday homes we've ever visited.

Glyn and Tony, the owners, have used very high quality furnishings and appliances in Berringtons Barn.. They are very welcoming - we were met with tea and homemade cakes and scones. They left us a bowl of fresh fruit and some homemade jam and marmalade, milk and - as our stay was over Easter - they had left us Easter decorations and eggs. They provided cleaning products and toiletries, as well as bedding and towels. Nothing was too much trouble - they were there if we needed them, but left us to enjoy our stay. This is definitely a place to go for a relaxing break.

November 2017
Whilst the cottage was very clean like that of a troopers boot the stay was marred by the bed collapsing in the middle of the night, therefore, disturbing the very rest we were pursuing.. When I raised the issue with the owner it was the total lack of customer service at this point which was so disappointing. Immediately on the defensive and almost accusing me of damaging the bed. When I pointed out to the owner there was an issue with the way in which the slats of the frame had been installed so as to create this potential hazard to guests he became more defensive and Histrionic. He came and fixed the bed but again defensive/histrionic its at your own risk etc etc, not once was there a scent of I am sorry this has happened to you how can I make your stay work from here?? On leaving and saying goodbye the bed issue was raised again and I was open to a small reduction for the inconvenience and disturbed night of sleep but nothing forthcoming he said he would think about it for a couple of days but nothing is forthcoming. I would just like a full refund now to compensate for the awful customer service. Disappointing

When we stayed here last year I simply forgot to leave feedback.. I would like to rectify that know by saying what a brilliant base it was for our holiday. Very comfortable and immaculately clean with a lovely outside dining area. The hosts were very friendly but never intrusive. I would highly recommend this property.

From the moment you arrive you know you are going to enjoy staying in Berringtons Barn. The tray of tea, scones, cake and jam (all home made) was wonderful and we left the unpacking to sit and relax and look at the beautiful garden and countryside through the huge window. The barn is spotlessly clean, well furnished and well equipped. The owners work hard to make your stay a great one and we cannot wait to return.

The Barn is lovely, much nicer than "home from home".. We had a wonderful welcome from the owners, with home made cake and greengage jam with a lovely pot of tea. There is every thing you could need in the barn, which is decorated in neutral shades and fitted out in a modern style, no clutter. The view over the large garden and surrounding fields is very nice, we were lucky with autumn colours. I would not hesitate to recommend Berringtons Barn to my friends. We have booked throughSykes in the past, they are efficient and easy to deal with.

An outstanding cottage and location.. This converted barn was beautifully designed and thoughtfully prepared by the owners. It was very simply, but tastefully decorated assuring a relaxing ambience. The owners have an eye for colour and detail and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and give us the warmest welcome. The location was lovely, offering a huge garden area with open views. Berrington's Barn is by far the best holiday let we have stayed in and the owners deserve every success in their future venture. Highly recommended.
