Cottage was very nice and clean, well presented all Furnishings in great condition and comfortable plenty of room inside and very nice to have meals in the conservatory with the sun shining through, the kitchen was very well done had everything that is needed. Good sized secure area outside for the dogs or to just sit and relax with birds around and views over the hills. Also lots of great walking tracks around the area you can walk to general store and local pub in 5 mins both served very well. The locals we met around the area was also very nice and friendly offering advice on what to see and do, I would highly recommend this area and cottage.

The parking space would be more accessible if the owner widened the entrance; this could be done with the minimum of expense.. Parking in is OK but reversing out is difficult because of the restricted turning circle. The bathroom extraction works but is very noisy taking an excessive time to switch off following a shower. Without these two minor problems our comfort would have exceeded expectations. Other than those two points we were very happy with the cottage, the high degree of privacy; the quality of cleanliness and the.comfort that the cottage provided. The pub is within walking distance it offers first class food and drink at sensible prices and the corner shop is a boon. Thank you Sykes. We will be looking to book through Sykes again. Also we will recommend Bellbine cottage to our friends and may well want to return in the future as it gave us a pleasant holiday.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and well located for our holiday.. There had been lots of comments about difficult parking but to be honest it wasn't that bad, but we're used to country life. The only thing that let this cottage down was the hot water system. Every time you used it it felt like the boiler was going to explode and it made such a noise. No chance of relaxing bath in this place. If that got fixed then the place would hit the mark.

When we arrived at the cottage we were delighted how cosy, clean and well equipped it was, the welcome hamper a lovely surprise.. The Christmas lights around the cottage was appreciated and made it feel very seasonal. We found everyone we met to be so friendly and helpful. The local village store has a great selection and is reasonably priced. The Polgooth Inn is definitely worth a visit the food, staff and the open roaring fires were a delight. Tuesday it is quiz night which was fun and enjoyable. Buddy the dog was also made very welcome and loved the attention that he got. The lane and parking is a bit tricky, but once you get used to it not so bad. We will definitely be going back to stay. Thank you

Without a doubt one of the best cottages i have rented.. I will definately return. Fantastic service from the owners. The cottage does have narrow access, but remember you are in Cornwall, i easily managed to turn a Land Rover. Loads to do, pub great, plenty of walks from the cottage door, panoramic views. Outstanding. Well done to the owners.

We recently had a lovely stay at bellbine cottage. There was a welcome hamper upon arrival and the property was clean and well maintained with everything that you need available. The only thing to be aware of is the parking access and parking. If a car is lowered or the owner is particularly car proud they may have a problem as access to the parking and cottage is via a single track which is very uneven, the turning spot has plenty of room, but again, a possible problem for the particularly car proud lowered cars. But despite this, we had a great time and the location was great for exploring cornwall with many nearby harbours, Eden project, gardens, national trust properties, steam trains and many animal themed attractions.

This is almost a good cottage.. The downfalls are glaringly obvious. The approach is a rough track - beyond cottage owners' control and typical of the area. What they could fix are the parking spot and path. They are treacherous. The yard is also a letdown - nothing more than weedy broken concrete. The location is good for beaches and walks. Polgooth Inn and shop both invaluable.

The parking was ridiculous a very narrow lane above and below for acess.. Uess your driving a tiny smart car not really accessible we ended up parking in the village the whole week ..the outside space was disappointing as we felt we were in a goldfish bowl on view constantly .the saving grace was a fantastic pub less than 5 minutes walk away ...

The parking is on a gravel patch under a tree that leaves sticky residue on the car, we had to have 2 car washes to remove it.. The cottage is quite dark inside & the back window opens into next doors garden, which is a bit bizarre. Pub is excellent and 5 minutes max walk away. Nearest beaches are not dog friendly!

Cozy cottage with a real home from home feel.. Lovely and clean and a great base to explore Cornwall with most places around 1-1/2 hours away. Close to the local shop and the Polgooth Inn which is well worth a visit with great food and local brews,

Directions were poor and the parking was never mentioned apart from one car only.. The area to part was very poor with hardcore to park on, when reversing out nearly hitting the wall behind, but for parking sensors we would have hit the wall, having to go up the lane to turn around in a wider area to come back down again. The garden area left a bit to be desired with only concrete and a bench to sit outside of the cottage. The cottage itself was very nice, apart from we could not open the lounge window as the neighbours garden was outside of this and we felt as if we had to keep the curtains closed which made it dark inside.

The cottage is lovely it is set in a quiet village just what we needed.. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a good break . The bed is so comfortable you don’t want to getup. Only slight problem is the country lane up to the cottage and the parking space. We had a great holiday thanks

The cottage was very thoughtfully decorated and had lots of home comforts for us to use like tea bags, blankets and books.. It is local to several villages and towns all within a short drive and Polgooth itself is just lovely.

Cottage very comfortable, Everything you need is there. lovely welcome pack. there is a large enclosed area for the dogs. The only problem was the parking and turning. Could be a problem for some. As it is away from the cottage and the ground is very uneven it could be a problem for elderly or invalid

The cottage was very clean and comfortable.. We had everything we needed including a lovely Welcome Pack. The outside was fully enclosed for the dogs to run around safely. The only problem was the Parking and Turning, some people could have difficulty, also as the parking is away from the cottage the gap between the cottage is very uneven and could cause problems for elderly or dissabled.
