Bel Alp Saint Gervais, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

We loved this apartment. The views from the balcony were fantastic. The location was perfect for accessing town and only a short walk to the telecabin. There is also a free bus service to the telecabin from just outside the apartment. There is no parking at the apartment but there is a free public carpark just down the road. The kitchen is really well equipped. Although the apartment is not large, there were 3 couples and a child in our party and we had enough space and never felt cramped.

The apartment is spacious, well located in the center of St Gervais, and with a magnificent view. On the other hand, a lot of refreshments are to be expected (torn skylight blind, broken kitchen tiles, no ceiling light in some rooms...

I won't have enough space to list all the problems we had during our stay... But it was catastrophic. The floors were not vacuumed when we arrived (broken vacuum cleaner) the state of the carpets was disgusting, dust on the furniture, traces on the windows, traces of mold under the kitchen top cabinet, pieces of broken tiles not glued back together, equipment with English sockets so you can't plug in, a completely dilapidated armchair etc etc

We stayed here for a week in August Really enjoyed it There were 5 of us Lovely huge covered balcony where you can all eat Stayed dry in rain 2 bedrooms with french doors Upstairs are 3 more beds but was hot despite Velux open but at same time wet things dried well if left in upstairs bathroom as so warm The kitchen is very well supplied Garage for car So close one minute or less to centre Amazing mountain view
