Beech Barn 3 in Cromer, Norfolk

We had pretty high expectations and they were all met!

We all had a great time,the cottage was had every thing that you wanted,the security for the dog was first class.. We would like to come back but it depends on medical issues any way we will have to see.thanks again yours,mr and mrs fuller and david and greta pegg

The Beech Barn was out of this world.. Perfect for us and our dogs. Enclosed back and front gardens. Doors to outside in three locations. Parking great. Close to Cromer. All rooms clean. Front room and kitchen had everything we needed. If anything, too warm when we got there in apartment and TV a bit temperamental. Very small issues though. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful break away in Cromer staying at Beech Barn.. It's a beautiful property - clean, cosy and warm. The weather was dreadful so it was lovely to be staying somewhere that we were happy to spend time in. When we went out for the day my youngest starting asking to go back to the 'barn house' after only a few minutes. The open living area works really well and it was lovely to return home after a freezing cold visit to the beach to a log burner. The little courtyard garden at the back and grassed garden at the front of the property was a fantastic feature for us as we were travelling with children and a dog. The beds were really comfy and there is a bathroom with a bath downstairs plus a shower room upstairs. The wooden floors are lovely, but very slippy so do take care - we had to make sure our girls didn't try to walk around in socks after a couple of slips! The property is only a short drive from Cromer itself and I noticed that there was pavement on the road outside so you could safely walk the route instead of driving. I guess it would take 30 mins ish - the weather was too grim for us to fancy trying it. Cromer itself is lovely - we love the beach there with a nice combination of pebbles and sand and lots of nice cafes, pubs, shops. It's also in a good location for visiting other places in the area. We went over to Holkham beach which is stunning (pine woodland, sand dunes and vast sandy beach) and has a visitor centre with hot drinks, sandwiches etc. If you visit with children then do consider a day out at Bewilderwood - we had a fantastic day there.

Beech barn was everything we needed to be able to spend Christmas with my aging parents who live a few mins away in Overstrand.. The house was incredibly equipped and cozy. Thank you so much!

Lovely quiet location, easy access to Cromer and surrounding area.. No issues whatsoever. We lost water supply for a couple of hours one morning but this was a problem with the utility company, not the property. Nice owner met us upon arrival and gave an overview of things to see/do in the area. A nice break !

This is a beautifully converted barn with good sized rooms which are tastefully decorated.. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need for a self catering break (the host even left a bottle of wine for us which was a lovely touch). The only small draw back was the lack of WiFi and intermittent poor TV signal but this did not spoil our stay. I’d be happy to recommend it to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at Beech Barn.. It was very clean and cosy. We would thoroughly recommend Beech Barn and would love to return in the future.

There is everything you need at the cottage.. Its a shame there is no internet. Only gave 3 for cleanliness as we got dog hairs on our clothes off the throws on the three piece suite.

WiFi would be an asset there.. Stairs to shower room from upstairs bedroom not easy! Otherwise meets the standards for Sykes Cottages which we have used for many years.

Would have been beneficial to have wi-fi in the cottage, e.. G. for looking up restaurants.

The accommodation was listed as beech barns, which it was, the sign says pine trees, we drove back and forth about 4 times before finding it, would be very useful to let people know that they have to look out for pine trees when on Norwich road.. Bother than that great.

This is the second time I have stayed in Beeches Barn.. Had a really lovely holiday. So near to Cromer (my favourite Norfolk Seaside resort). A really lovely cosy accommodation. Just wish my health had been better so I could have done more walking. The Owners of the property are very very helpful and friendly. Will definately come back again health permitting.

Surprised by the lack of WiFi.. Probably needs to be made clearer on the website as most people will assume these days that WiFi is available. Whilst this didn’t impact the holiday it made organising the week’s events a bit difficult. Cottage is otherwise fantastic. The road noise didn’t impact us either. Great location, well appointed and very comfortable.

We always enjoy our Hoilidays at Beech Barn and look forward to returning again in the summer

A beautiful cottage with everything needed to make a home from home.. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to family and friends. Owners on hand for any issues (not that we had any) could quite happily stay there again. Clean, well equipped, and very beautiful. Loved it, didn't want to leave. 10/10

The barn conversion had everything and more that we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped and we thought leaving milk and tea bags was a really nice touch! We will definitely book again!

Lovely location and surroundings. A characterful property that really felt like a holiday.

My family have stayed in many cottages with our dog, this has to be one of our favourites. We have stayed in this cottage 3 times now, it is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We love the quiet location while being easily accessible to Cromer town centre. It has a lawned area at the front and a private patio at the back which is very secure for dogs/young children and is a great sun trap. There is also a paddock shared with the other cottages, where our dog enjoys stretching her legs.
