Beach Cottage is a wonderful family seaside base, set close to the beach at Kinmel Bay, a mile from the bustling seaside resort of Rhyl. There are five bedrooms, three doubles and two family rooms, one with en-suite facilities, and a double futon as well as two family bathrooms. The main living accommodation offers a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with a woodburner and a pool table and a conservatory. Outside, there is off road parking for four cars, and there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, BBQ swings and a seesaw. With the beach, harbour and amenities of both Rhyl and Kinmel Bay within easy reach, and the rest of the North Wales coastline a pleasant drive away, Beach Cottage is a welcoming year-round coastal retreat.

Accomodation Details
All ground floor. Five bedrooms: 1x King Sized bedroom, 2 x double (one with double futon), 2 x family room with 1 double and 1 single (one with en-suite shower and WC). The family that does not have the en suite has a larger size single bed as well as a double.Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area (seats 10). Sitting room with woodburner (seats 10). Conservatory. Games area with pool table.

Area
Rhyl is a seaside resort nestled between Prestatyn and Colwyn Bay along the North Wales coastline. Rhyl has golden beaches that stretch for six miles along the coast. The centre of Rhyl provides numerous activities to enjoy such as the Seaquarium. There is a Crown Green bowling Centre, miniature golf, tennis, squash courts, go karts, arcades, and Botanical Gardens. A sheltered harbour allows access to numerous water sports, such as sailing and kayaking, or further afield you will find white water rafting, climbing and caving, and the renowned Offa’s Dyke walking trail, just down the coast in Prestatyn which is a four mile drive or a three mile walk if you fancy leaving the car at home. Within a short drive you can discover the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, Victorian Llandudno, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Rhuddlan and Denbigh Castles, or historic Chester with its wonderful shops and architecture. A great location for all the family!

Stayed as a family ages ranging from 6 to 74, grandparents, children, grandchildren a total of 11 of us and 2 dogs. There was enough space both inside and outside if any of us wanted 5 mins peace, and a short 10 min walk led us to the beach which was HUGE. Property is very well equipped and bedrooms are a good size. A high fence at the back garden makes it completely safe to let the dogs out and there is a gas barbeque with benches and parasols. The gardens at the front are a suntrap, with swings and a couple of playhouses for young ones again with high fences for good privacy. The pool table kept everyone occupied in the evenings, and there were a selection of games and books in the lounge. The conservatory is a very pleasant warm area where us oldies would escape to when it got noisy ! We had 5 cars between us and parked easily. The owner Steven was a phone call away and answered any queries very quickly. Location is good, ASDA is a 15 min walk away for supplies, there is also a retail park nearby with ALDI and other well known stores. We have all said we would return at some point and recommend this place to friends.

Great place to get together with friends.. Well equipped and plenty of space so the three families weren't on top of each other. Large kitchen was perfect for socialising and eating together. Children loved the pool table and the swings in the garden. So close to the beach perfect for dog walks and sandcastle building.

The cottage was just as it appeared in the listing and all of the information needed was provided prior to our trip.. The owner was easy to get in touch with and responded really quickly, happy to help us with anything we needed. Despite the terrible weather, the location was great, with two lovely pubs literally outside the door, and the beach was a 5 minute walk away for any of us who fancied a little stroll. The cottage was in great condition, really clean and tidy. It was a great experience all round. We will definitely be returning to this cottage and would highly recommend it.

Was lovely surprise for the family to see all the christmas decorations the owner had done for our arrival the pictures really dont do the cottage justice it's beautiful with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable surrounding, we had a marvellous time going out exploring the beach is beautiful with the added bonus everywhere is dog friendly, the May Quay pub at the end of the road is nice the food is also good,

The bungalow is well furnished with all the facilities required for 12 people.. The place very clean throughout. The bedrooms were comfortable. Outside there was a barbecue with plenty of room to eat (beware of the gulls). The owner was very helpful in solving any small issue promptly. We would certainly recommend the property.

Great size cottge with garden areas and parking for four cars, all utensils including washer, dish washer, bbq with gas supplied, wifi, open fire, great location with lots of places to visit nearby.. Fresh bundle of towels in every room, high chair, cot, swings and play house in the garden. Arrived in very bad wet weather, the owner had put the heating on ready for us which was appreciated. Owner was also contactable. I would definitely go back again

Beach Cottage is lovely.. Great garden for the dog to enjoy safely. Great parking for disabled person. Well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to the seafront. Within easy reach of lots of different attractions. Owner was very nice, helpful and available but non intrusive during our stay. Nice quiet relaxing break, just what we needed. Thanks.

We had a fabulous weekend at Beach Cottage. The bungalow is extremely well equipped and it was clean and warm when we arrived so very welcoming. We were able to bring the two dogs and the beach is very close for walks. We didn't use the pubs but did have take aways from the fish and chip shop. the Chinese and the Indian and they were all very good. We will definitely visit again when we all get together.

Highly recommend Beach Cottage.. Great location to explore Nirth Wales from and only 2 mins from the beach. The cottage itself is fully equipped with everything you need, it's like home from home. My husband and I stayed with our daughters and their families (including dogs) it was just what we needed.

I booked this huge beach bungalow for a 'familymoon' so that after my daughter's wedding we could all have some extra time together as family is spread as far apart as Devon to the Lakes.. We were 9 adults 1 eight month old baby and 2 dogs and loved the amount of space the cottage provided. The bedrooms are huge. The property is extremely well maintained and simply lovely. Having the whole family cooking in the large, well appointed kitchen and eating family meals together was the best part for me and something that we have all expressed a wish to repeat. The property is totally secure for dogs once the front drive gate is closed with 3 gardens for them to run in. The cottage really is just a few minutes walk to the beach. We met the owner (very friendly and extremely helpful) who was maintaining his other property next door and I believe between the two it's possible to accommodate 23 people. We would not hesitate to return to this property in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

The bungalow was like a home from home, everything we needed was there. The bungalow from the outside is very deceiving as when you enter, all the rooms are a great size and nobody is under each others feet. The kitchen is amazing also. There was plenty to do around the surrounding area.
