Bayview cottage offer a breathtaking view on the countryside and the sea.. The place is very quiet and practical to go to the ring of Kerry or Dingle and Beara Peninsulas. We have had a lot of documentation about activities around the cottage, no need to go to the tourist office. Good contacts with the owners. I recommend this place.

Beautiful cottage with scenic view.. Very quiet, a little bit separated from the main road but still easy and quick to reach from the Ring of Kerry. Very friendly land lady. It was a very good choice to stay there with our children.

Tried at least two times to contact Sykes by using the e-mail adress advised incl.. cancellation of the booking, but did not received any response. Really annoying. The assessment of the cottage itself cannot be made as I did not go there; however, as the system requires an assessment I assessed it positive somehow as the owner of the cottage is not accountable for the behaviour of the Sykes.

We loved the location and the view that the property offers over the entire surrounding area all the way down to the bay. Our hosts were extremely helpful and had time to explain everything to us on arrival and checked on us during the stay. The house is very well equipped and we were not short of anything during our stay, including a plentiful supply of seasoned wood for the open fire. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to get away to rural Ireland.

This is a beautiful cottage set on the side of a hill giving a fantastic view over the valley below, whether the weather is fine or not, but secluded and sheltered from the wind. It was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay, and much more besides. The cottage is situated perfectly if you are into astronomy, cycling, walking, observing wildlife, or anything outdoors. Mr and Mrs Lynch were excellent hosts, and as they live in the cottage just up the hill, were on hand to check in on us every few days, to see if we needed anything, and to be there in the event that we had any problems. We took advantage of the plentiful supply of seasoned logs that had been left for us to have an open fire a few evenings, and never once closed the curtains on the spectacular view of the valley that all the rooms enjoy.

Extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful cottage owners. Bit of a drive to get anywhere, but perfect for a get-away-from-it-all holiday.
