Bankhouse is a terraced cottage in the village of Easington on the East Riding of Yorkshire. It provides two bedrooms; a double and a twin, as well as a family bathroom, it can sleep up to four people. Also inside there is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is roadside parking in front of the property as well as a rear enclosed courtyard with furniture. Bankhouse is a stunning cottage perfectly located for discovering what the East Riding of Yorkshire can offer.

A coastal village on the East Riding of Yorkshire, known for birdwatching. Easington has a pub as well as a sandy beach. Withernsea is close by and offers a number of amenities. Hull has something to suit every taste, with attractions including The Deep aquarium, the Dinostar museum and a stunning marina.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bank House cottage was wonderful, very homely with everything you could wish for.. the garden was great for the dogs. there were lovely walks around and my husband really enjoyed the birdwatching.

The cottage is lovely.. We loved the log burner but only found out on day of leaving that the logs are in the shed at the bottom of the garden! The beds are comfy and the house was spotless. The welcome basket was lovely and generous and they even thought about our son and the dogs with the treats they left! The area is also pretty but quiet! We have a young child so found it hard to entertain him as everything was quite a drive away. We came home 2 days early but this is no reflection on the quality of the accommodation just we felt we had seen everything. Hull is worth seeing, we enjoyed the deep and the art gallery. The minister is shut on Mondays though. Spurn point is a 3 mile walk... but we enjoyed the beach and the visitor centre there. Withensea has some great amusement arcades and we spent a rainy morning there. If you want a quiet get away from it all holiday it is perfect.

The facilities at Bank House were excellent and one could see a great deal of thought had gone into making it home from home.. The owners have taken a lot of trouble to ensure that your holiday and visit to the area is a memorable one.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and a real home from home.. It was filled with loads of kitchen equipment, cleaning products, toiletries - we needn’t have packed half the stuff we brought! They left us a lovely welcome basket including treats for the dogs. It’s furnished beautifully and feels very cosy. The beach is a 2 minute drive away and stunning, or you can head in to Withernsea which is a 15 minute drive and has shops, a supermarket etc. For us this holiday was all about the dogs and it really ticked all the boxes - the garden is large and secure and the beaches are close and dog friendly. We are hoping to return again next year.

We arrived a little early and was met by the owner Graham and Michelle the welcome they gave us made us feel at home immediately, there is everything you could need in the cottage to make your stay comfortable.. . Long and pretty garden at rear Buddy (family dog) found it amazing. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful beach holiday. Hope to return soon.
