Quiet, private ,spacious, comfortable and homely cottage. Lovely views of the coast, especially at the back of the garden up a small hill where you can see Downpatrick Head and sea stack. Comfortable beds. Slightly quirky showers. We had the company of a wee mostly white feral cat through the week who regularly visited for a bowl of tuna in oil. Very shy but sweet. Gerry the owner was kind and welcoming. Recommended.

The ad in the listing stated that there was surfing in the area which there wasn't.. We had to drive about 30 km for surfing which was annoying as we took cottage for that reason. Otherwise cottage was lovely but a bit remote with no supermarket near, it's about 10 klm away.

It's a lovely location, quiet and tranquil with outstanding scenic views all from the front garden of the house.. Strategically well placed along the "wild Atlantic way" and with excellent access to smaller traditional towns or bigger, more vibrant destinations, depending on what you're looking for.

We were pleased to find there was an en-suite shower room as well as the family bathroom.. The rooms were all an excellent size. The beach is really lovely, great for building sandcastles and no more than 10 to 15 minutes walk away. The scenery from Atlantic View is beautiful. The village of Ballycastle was again within 10 to 15 minutes walk. The local people were all very helpful and friendly. Gerry was also very helpful and easy to get hold of. We would certainly recommend Atlantic View.

Simply brilliant.. Clean and welcoming. Surrounding views and the near by beach are breath taking and peaceful. The owner Jerry also gave us £20 voucher to spend in the local cafe"Mary's Kitchen " Any one looking for a holiday in Ballycastle or west coast of Ireland then this cottage is the place.

The owner Gerry was very friendly and helpful.. He met us in the village and drove us to the cottage. During the week he generously provided a 20 Euro voucher for a lopcal restaurant and also telephoned to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here last October and had a great time. The house is spacious and very clean with all the utilities you need for a short break away from home. The highlight though has to be the location, so close to the ballycastle high street in one direction and the beach in the other. A perfect place from which to explore the scenic coastline! We hope to return soon...

The property was a great size to accommodate my family and we loved the location as it was close to the beach and the village. The owner was more than helpful and always made sure if we needed anything we could contact him at any time which was nice. We enjoyed it so much we are already considering a return next year.

We stayed in Atlantic view in july. It was great the house was a fantastic size and had everything that we required. The house was well kept and clean and the owner Gerry came and welcomed us. Having travelled round the south of ireland you are just left the keys and you don't see anyone at some properties, so it was nice to meet the person who owned the house and he made it quite clear we could contact him at anytime if we needed anything. We have two young boys and the ground around the house was great as they had plenty of room to play and the beach was at the end of the lane which took about 10 mins to walk to which was great. When you opened the door the view was breath taking. We enjoyed our stay so much we are considering staying next year again.
