The fishing village of Appledore is just a short drive away, as is the harbour town of Bideford, where the cobbled streets are lined with interesting independent shops, antique sellers, and a choice of well regarded eateries. For those looking for something a bit different, there are two fun theme parks close by The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Park.
