The Loft is a lovely first floor apartment situated in the grounds of the owners' home, on the edge of Chilsworthy and close to Holsworthy in Devon. This cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there's off road parking for two cars, a private patio, a shared lawned area and shared use of an indoor heated swimming pool. The Loft is close to many places of interest and is an ideal base for a couple.

Area
Holsworthy is a market town situated amid the rolling green hills of Tarka Country in Devon. Holsworthy has much to offer, including a swimming pool, tennis court, splendid park with bowling green, shops, pubs and cafes, as well as an 18-hole golf course just outside the town. Also in the area are fishing, sailing, cycling, walking and sandy beaches.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

The loft is in a great location, and ideal for seeing most places in Devon & Cornwall.. It has everything you need, and a great addition of an indoor pool. The owners gave us a warm welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We would love to visit again.

Convenient base in the countryside yet still close to lovely beaches and walks.. Friendly hosts Teresa and Chris. Welcoming bottle plus milk in the fridge - a nice touch. The Loft is just right for a couple looking for a break away from everyday life.

We had a lovely week at The Loft in Chilsworthy, it was a good base for visiting places in both Devon and Cornwall.. The Loft is very comfortable and was great for our small family. The swimming pool was also thoroughly enjoyed by both myself and our son. Chris and Teresa were very friendly and helpful, and we look forward to going back in the near future. We really enjoyed our stay in the loft.. The hosts were so friendly and really accommodating. They even had some milk and bubbly in the fridge for our arrival!! We went with our two children who loved playing on the lawns and in the pool and it was amazing to have the pool to ourselves. The accommodation has very comfy beds and great facilities. Bude is only a short drive away and has a couple of lovely beaches. I'm sure we will be back sometime in the future to enjoy the loft again

We felt that some additional shelving (fixed or free standing) could be put into the bathroom.. We had to put wash bags on the floor, not ideal. Also a small chair in the bedroom. (we did use one of the dining chairs during our stay. Otherwise a delightful venue.

Great value accomodation.. Properties surrounded on all sides by beautiful Devon countryside, but only about one and a half miles from an A road to explore further afield. We made good use of the pool, which was only 10 yards from the property entrance. The owners Chris and Teresa were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The barn had everything that was needed to make our stay comfortable like being home from home,Teresa and chris owners made us feel welcome and was around if we needed anything but wasn't in our face and left us to get on with our holiday.. The swimming pool was an added bonus as being away from the beech and needed to cool down was brilliant from relaxing in the garden. The local village has six pubs chippy coop shops suppermarket for your needs Bude only 20 minute drive away. If you like a peaceful holiday then look no more. Barry & Lou

Having just returned from a weeks stay at The Loft, I can honestly say that Chris and Teresa are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel instantly welcome upon arrival. The Loft was just what we wanted. The pool was fantastic for our children as was the lawned areas. Set in a peaceful setting we were no more than 20 minutes from the great beaches of Bude. Our hosts were always on hand to help out if needed but never intruded. Ample parking, immaculate bedding, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this Devonshire gem.

The pool was lovely and there were no time limits on its use.. The owners even asked if we wanted fish and chips when they went into the local town to fetch them, a brilliant touch.
