Have a heavenly London stay at this quirky modern apartment within a fully remodelled Victorian church. We fell in love with the otherworldly mix of almost futuristic interiors and gorgeous period features, such as the stone columns supporting soaring ceilings and the gothic arches featuring stained glass windows. Both the open-plan living area and the master bedroom open onto an enclosed private space. It’s not the Garden of Eden but you will feel an angelic sense of calm wash over you while you sip your morning coffee or read a book outside on a sunny afternoon. There are a few touches, however, that are downright divine. Take the underfloor heating, for example, or the abundant storage space — here you can easily unpack half a dozen suitcases and still add something more from your shopping sprees around London. Whip up a feast in the fully-equipped kitchen or hop off to nearby Kilburn High Street and tickle your taste buds with a sinfully wide variety of international cuisines. Within a ten-minute radius, you can also find three underground and overground stations for easy access to virtually any part of the capital. You couldn't pray for a better place to call home for a while.
Home truths: *There is a big difference in quality between the two bedrooms — one is a spacious room with a door to the garden, the other is a very compact space on a mezzanine accessed by a ladder with only a floor mattress to see you through the night
*Parking is available, although it comes with a daily surcharge
*The property offers access to a communal lawn shared with other units, although you’ll also have your own private garden, too
