While the property is set in a tranquil location with a lovely sea view and was very well facilitated it was badly let down by maintenance issues. On arrival we had been allocated parking bay 4 which was anybodies guess as all the numbers had been taped over due to external maintenance works being carried out, some of the properties were residential so it wasn't a case of being able to park anywhere. The lights in the main bedroom were not working which left us without lighting for 2 days/nights. Reading the suggestions book we noted that there had been issues with lighting in other rooms. The en-suite bathroom had a strong smell of stale urine which was most unpleasant and the toilet flush wasn't working properly and gave up completely half way through the week. The kitchen worktops felt sticky and there was a sticky substance on a shelf in one of the kitchen cupboards. The maintenance crew were jet washing the outside of the building on 2 mornings and up until then we had been enjoying breakfast outside, when we were able to have access again to the small garden area we had to wash down the patio furniture which was covered in dirt due to the jet washing. We generally felt that the property was over equipped when more emphasis could have been put on essential interior maintenance - for example, who needs a bread maker on holiday!! Due to the unfortunate issues we experienced we feel unable to recommend this property.

Rock Pool is a gem of a place.. It has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen full of every utensil and pots and pans you could ever want, to comfortable beds, en-suite bathroom, and more than enough board games or books to keep you entertained should the weather be rainy.

This is the best equipped rental property we have ever been in. Everything you need is here. iPod docking,wifi,DVD,sonos,lovely hdmi tv. All equipment in kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. All done to a histandard. One walkin shower. The list is endless. Even dishwasher tabs were here. Great location,not far from looe.stunning views with an easy walk down to the inn on the beach.

A stunning property.. Everthing about the apartment was perfect, the owners have excelled themselves in making it most comfortable for a wonderful holiday home. The welcoming cream tea and vase of flowers gave us a feeling of being at home. A peaceful area and sea view sets it off perfectly. A good base to tour other areas.

The facilities were of a very high standard.. Everything you need and more for a lovely stay. The position of the apartment was amazing with lovely sea views and a very peaceful area. Centrally placed to visit many national trust properties. We would definitely book this again in the future.

What an amazing apartment! The view from the sitting room to the sea was wonderful and the village location was superb. It was very well laid out and exceeding expectations, it was very clean and comfortable with everything you could want. A lovely cream tea awaited us on arrival and this was enjoyed whilst sitting on the patio overlooking the sea - bliss!! The location of this property was ideal as it was a great base to explore the surrounding areas. It was a bonus to be able to walk out of the apartment and within 5 minutes be able to walk along the beach. Would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone who wishes to visit this area - we hope to return again ourselves soon.

Really tidy, well looked after, well kitted out - especially so in the kitchen. Very comfortable - I have been more than once, and can vouch that the twin room is as comfortable as the main room. The wet room is a nice touch. Great location - its a 5 minute walk to all of the pub, the restaurant, the shop and the beach; and both Looe and Polperro are only a short drive away. The pub and the restaurant are both good. I have been with family - the two boys liked it here; and been with friends - it worked well for both. I plan to go again.

The apartment is perfectly located and the views are lovely! The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away, as is the great pub and excellent bistro. There’s plenty to do in the evening, therefore, if you don’t want to drive into one of the great local villages. The apartment is really well equipped, so staying in and cooking is also a pleasure, and the lounge is comfortable, clean and also has great entertainment facilities. A superb pick for families but also for couples or friends. We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the lovely local area.
