The Queen Elizabeth apartment was absolutely stunning , immaculately clean , excellently facilitated, the welcome pack of wine and chocolates was a lovely touch too,its a credit to the owners.. The area of Stanhope is a great breakaway, even tho we were only an hour away from home it's a lovely place to visit. There isnt one fault I could give and certainly would be staying again. My family and I had a great weekend.Thankyou

This was a beautiful apartment.. Decor and furnishings were great bathrooms and kitchen were of high standard and well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean . If I had any criticism it would be that the fridge was a bit small for a party of eight. All in all superb accommodation.

Wonderful, high spec and well appointed property.. Rachel, the Manger was really welcoming and attentive upon arrival. cannot fault anything at all, cleanliness was of the highest order. Stanhope is a little gem of a hub to go exploring the North pennines, highly recommend.

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, with a clean and modern design finished to a very high standard with lots of extras like flowers, wine and chocolates on the pillow.. It covers 2 floors and accommodated 7 of us very easily.

Welcome was fantastic.. The owners were lovely and very willing to go the extra mile to help and to sort out any difficulties or questions. With 4 children I was worried that it was going to be difficult to keep them occupied but far from it. The location was great! Loads to do whatever the weather - from the Roman fort and Bowes museum, Durham cathedral and steam rains for the culture, to standing under a waterfall after a fabulous and free walk in the Pennines. The heated open air pool in Stanhope was great. Lots more to do. At the end of a busy day the apartment was perfect for families. Easy to cook and wash - loads of cutlery and crockery so that you don't have to run the dishwasher between every meal as in many properties. Clean, hot showers and both showers can be used at the same time without loosing power. The fresh local eggs on arrival (as well as other goodies) were just the perfet bonus! Recommend to everyone.
