The town is steeped in history; construction of the Minster began in 1220 and continued until 1425 and over the centuries has been continually added to. Today, skilled artisans and masons are employed in the upkeep of this magnificent building. Other historical building include Ann Routh's hospital, an Almshouse built in 1749, the Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms to name a few. Beverley has a wide variety of shops, eateries and other amenities but is within reach of York, Bridlington and Hull with their own excellent attractions, and all of this is surrounded by glorious countryside just waiting to be discovered.

Wonderfully located yet quietly tucked away in the heart of Beverley.. A very lovely stylish, modern and comfortable apartment. Bathroom, shower and toilet facilities all exceptionally clean, modern and warming with a lovely large tub to soak in!
Stayed for 8 nights and couldn’t fault the place. All the little things you need. The neighbours within the apartment block are all really friendly and the direct owner is very approachable and made my stay very welcoming, thank you Nicola :)
The flat was lovely but the bedroom was upstairs in the sloping roof made access to the cupboards and one side of the bed difficult.. Parking was strictly forbidden out side the flat and with the parking permit provided you had to go and find a parking space. Which on Friday afternoon when we arrived proved very difficult. Parked quite a long way from the flat. WiFi was limited so only able to check e-mails and a small amount of browsing
We have used Skescottages sites before and would recommend them but on this occasion a little disappointing
Great location.. Poor curb appeal. Do not let you put that off.
Very well appointed flat in the town centre.. Handy for everything.
Parking was difficult but managed most days.
Just a few comments about minor issues.. The DVD player is integrated into the TV - we had to contact the owner to find out how to use it. There is only one wine glass in the cupboard and the cooker isn't easy to use! Apart from that all was fine.
A thoughtfully equipped property in the heart of a stunning historic town..
The owner does not live locally and the keys to the property are accessed via an external key safe for which you are given the combination in advance.. Upon my arrival at 4.45 pm I found the key safe empty. I tried repeatedly to contact the owner by phone but was met with the response "The number you are calling is not available."
By 10.00 pm I gave up and had to spend the night in the car. It was not until 8.00 the following morning that I was able to contact the owner who informed me that her phone had been switched off the previous afternoon/evening. She arranged for the caretaker/cleaner to come and let me in. It transpired that the previous occupier had placed the keys into
the external wall mounted letter box (to which I had no access) instead of replacing them in the key safe.
THIS IS AN ISSUE WHICH CLEARLY NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
Parking for resident visitors in Beverley can be a bit of a mystery!
Right in the middle of Beverley, this apartment is very close to the pubs, shops and restaurants, and so very well situated.
Although well equipped, it is small, and space is very tight in the bedroom, bathroom and downstairs toilet where tall visitors may have problems with the low sloping roofs.
Note that the view in pictures is of the attractive town centre and not the apartment. The view from the apartment is disappointing one: bins of the local restaurant which are noisily filled many times a day. It was difficult to find the front door on the first day as it was not labelled.
The apartment was very nicely furnished but up stairs was very cramped and we both had a number of bruises on our head from the ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom . No where to hang clothes doors fell off the runners as soon as we opened them no where to plug in hairdryer or to sit comfortably no mirror in bedroom . Bed was very comfortable but hard to get out of under the eaves . The kitchen was fine but lacked basic things like a chopping board and culinder mixing bowels and only had 2 mugs which proved difficult when we had friends over . The place was very quiet at the weekend but there was generator running next to the flat so very niosey from Mon to wed from around 8 30 am . The place is Very well position for the town centre but parking difficult though parking Should have been sorted for the apartment . Photo on web site miss leading we went to try and see theflat near the archway at North bar with in which is what the web site shows
Morleys Mews is a great location with easy access to town and walks around the area. The flat was very clean, light, quiet and well-equipped. Overall a great place to stay.

Excellent location, Morley Mews is a warm, clean and comfortable flat..
Great holiday property in a fantastic location and perfect for a couple. The property had everything we required and was central to town shops, restaurants, pubs and sights and was simple enough to find in the car. Horse racing is a great day/night out and it's easy enough to get the train to other places for days away. Everything is within walking distance and the Yorkshire people are as welcoming as always.
Location was excellent providing easy access to Beverley. Lots to do and see in the area and eat at the pubs as they are excellent value for money.
Well situated - just a few steps to the High Street with modern decor and furnishings. There are high quality appliances throughout. The bed is very comfortable.Very clean.
The outside approach to the building is unpleasant - like being sent to the Tradesman's entrance, with its bins, vehicles, weeds and debris. Parking spaces in the vicinity are very difficult to find. The downstairs toilet is under the stairs and it's almost impossible to avoid banging your head on the sloping ceiling. At 5'5" I struggled to use the shower, which is over the bath. The ceiling is sloping and the shower screen is rigid leaving little room to move.
Only one side of the bed is accessible comfortably. The only hanging and drawer space for clothes is in the eaves, forcing you to kneel to use it.
I would not recommend unless you are single, short, slim and supple.

The appartment was in a great location for wandering around Beverley with lots of good cafes, walks and historic buildings, including the Minster. It was delightful to listen to the chimes of Beverley Minster whilst in bed, in the morning; The appartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Good location for exploring the seaside towns nearby, and Hull. I'd happily revisit the town and the appartment.
Convenience, cleanliness, friendliness and efficiency of owner. Help also given by owner on arrival. Location of property which is central to shops and services needed excellent. Owner took care of parking permit and even secured a space for our arrival. Flat was warm and cosy with good feel.

Very clean and well equipped property, and very convenient for Beverley town centre. If staying in the area again I would not hesitate to book the same place. The landlady and her partner were extremely helpful.
First of all, if you want to spend any time in E.Yorkshire then Beverley is the ideal place, a good old fashioned market town with loads of decent pubs and restaurants. Secondly, if you are staying in Beverley then, for a couple, this is ideal. The property is yards from the centre of town (whilst being no way noisy - its not that kind of place).
The property is an apartment in a block of 7 (though we never heard any noise from the neighbours ) and is very well furnished so, if you wanted, you could stay home and cook every night.
One final thing, we had a minor problem (our fault) and the property owner (Nikki) was very helpful in sorting it. I would not hesitate in recommending the place.

The apartment is well placed in the centre of Beverley. It was absolutely spotless, well equipped and stylish.
It's not the biggest apartment but it is thoughtfully laid out and perfect for a couple.
Nicola was really helpful and we couldn't have been made more welcome.
