The Stadium, which is directly across the river, hosts huge sporting events and concerts. There are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby and Cardiff Castle, Sophia Gardens, St Davids Hall and the Cardiff City Stadium are all within walking distance. Cardiff Bay, with it's waterfront, Millennium Centre, White Water Centre, Ice Area and Cardiff International Swimming Pool, is only 1 mile away and can be reached via bus, train or water taxi on the river which can all be caught from near the apartment.  If arriving to this Fitzhammon Embankment apartment by train, the station is less than a 5-minute walk way.
