Thanks to the huge skylight, the living space is bathed in natural light and, come rain or shine, you'll love gazing up at the heavens from the comfy sofa. The collection of black and white photography, along with the exposed brick walls add a touch of edginess, and the neighbourhood outside is similarly trendy. Wander along the Canal Saint-Martin, stopping off at the waterside bars and coffee shops – the area has a real arty feel, and is a little off the well-worn tourist trail. However, you aren't far away from the iconic museums and galleries of Paris – simply take a three-minute stroll to Jacques Bonsergent métro station and a train will take you there.
