Perhaps unsurprisingly for a Parisian address, we found this two-floor apartment rather chic. It might be the monochrome colour palette utilised throughout only broken up by the occasional gold motif, the stylish light fixtures or the pristine white bathrooms, but everything works remarkably well together. There's a large dining table on the lower level positioned next to a minimalist kitchen, a set-up that should allow for cosy home-cooked dinners on any night of your stay. Saying that, there are a handful of restaurants within a ten-minute walk in the surrounding twelfth arrondissement, as well as the huge Bois de Vincennes, which features an arboretum, a zoo and lots of well-maintained gardens.
Home truths: *At full occupancy, four guests will be sleeping on two sofa beds in the living room, although this arrangement domineers the communal space and blocks the entrance to the door
*Although the apartment is split across two levels, there's a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor at street level
*There's no private car parking space, but Bel-Air and Porte Dorée metro stations are both seven minutes' walk away
*This apartment has a private entrance
*There's no desk, but there's a laptop-friendly workspace on the dining table
