The cottage was excellent, however, when booking, I specifically asked about the Car Parking, which the site stated quite clearly would be off road.. This was not the cas, and I had to park on the main street. This is really misrepresentation and needs to be fixed.

It's a lovely holiday cottage, which we visited for the first time 4yrs ago, but this time we found the two double beds very uncomfortable and in need of new mattresses.. Also the lawn was difficult to access due to very overgrown rose brambles, obstructing the path. Another worry was the steep steps to the right of the back door to the garden, perhaps a gate rather than just a pole across would be safer for young children. We had our 2 & 4 year old grandchildren staying with us. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Gillian Ferguson & family

Very comfortable apartment.. The weather also was excellent and we even managed to sit in the garden for short time. Wished we could have stayed longer.

A lovely property, well equipped with a beautiful garden. No sea view, but right on the harbour front. Beds are very comfortable and each room has is own shower and toilet and there are also 2 baths. There are 5 of us in our party. My wife and me with our 12 year old son , who loves spending time on the rocks watching the wildlife and marine life. My wife’s parents and our Jack Russel Terrier. Our 2nd visit to this beautiful little fishing village on the East Neuk of Fife. Would definitely come again.

We are disappointed that this property will be unavailable for us to book in the future as pets will be allowed..

We enjoyed the convenient situation of this beautiful apartment.. No complaints at all except maybe that there was no sea view, but we knew about that when we booked. The garden at the rear was a nice surprise. Very happy visitors.

The flat is well kitted out, clean and modern.. However, there's a garage next door to the flat, which was quite noisy some early mornings and sometimes into the evening. A ladder placed next to an unlockable window was disconcerting. Lovely area. Pittenweem is very picturesque. While we very much enjoyed our stay, the description on your website is somewhat misleading "sharing a rear lawn with sea views" can be interpreted that the flat has sea views, which it doesn't. In fact, there are no views. That was quite disappointing. Other mentions of this were in the book left for comments.

Very clean modern property.. Ideal for friends or extended family with two on suite bedrooms upstairs and one on suite downstairs. The property is situated on the harbour but as it has been built behind the original harbourside property there is no view of the sea. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Pittenweem at the Flourloft and would recommend it

I booked the Flour Loft as I thought from the picture, that we would have a frontal outlook to the harbour. So was Very disappointed that it was a back house with the outlook to other buildings and rooves. It was well appointed but the addition of the workshop underneath us, was very intrusive. I appreciate it is a working harbour, but the constant use of an angle grinder, or something similar was extremely intrusive. Therefore in conclusion, my idea of sitting at the window, looking out to the harbour and showing my American friend a quaint East Neuk village was sorely dashed.

The fishing village of Pittenweem was a lovely friendly place for a quiet break and the Flour Loft is perfectly situated to take advantage of the coastal path for easy walking access to St Monans and Anstruther.. We liked the fact that it was so easy to gain access to the cottage when we arrived and were able to park right outside. The cottage contained everything we needed, very comfortable, and it was really interesting to be so close to the harbour and the inquisitive seal who would appear every day. Would love to return sometime.

The holiday home was in an excellent location. It had three en-suite bathrooms. It was fully kitted out for our needs including WiFi. It was an ideal property for a family break and to explore the East Coast and walk parts of the Fife Coastal Path.
