Flat 6, Carisbrooke House makes a great base for enjoying the town and the coastline or even heading into the Moors for stunning scenery and great walking.

The lively seaside town of Scarborough has many fascinating historic buildings, a castle, beautiful gardens and peaceful parks. The town has been hugely popular with visitors ever since the 19th century, and people still flock to Scarborough for its beautiful North and South bays and their splendid sandy golden beaches. The traditional seaside entertainments, busy promenade, shops and restaurants and visitor attractions including the theatre combine to provide something for everyone who wants a happy, fun holiday in a traditional seaside location. Venture further afield to the dramatic Moors, visit the quaint fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay or explore the market towns away from the coast such as Pickering and Malton to complete your relaxing holiday.

It is on the third floor with 39 steps to go up and down with luggage but when you finally are settled it's a great apartment. The bed is so comfy and everything you need is there, no WIFI which was a problem to start with but we managed. A big bath but shower a bit low for my husband who is 6ft 3 but he had to manage. So close to everything and we would consider again. Love the colourful settees which used to be red.

Really handy for the south beach, the town and the railway station.. The flat is cosy, clean, and excellent for 2 people. Even has its own dedicated off road parking spot. Excellent base for exploring Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and the Moors.

This apartment was nowhere near any holiday facilities just many multi occupancy buildings. It is on the 2nd floor and after a journey there and taking your luggage up there is no welcome whatsoever not even fresh milk to make a drink

The apartment was clean, comfortable, quite well equipped and conveniently located.. We found the choice of Freeview TV channels to be very limited but this may be due to general limits in the area.

Lovely apartment, everything we needed, just the 39 steps were a bit daunting! lol But would stay there again! Short walk into town, and just 5 minutes down to the beach. Free parking makes it a great find.

The Apartment was as listed, a very smart Clean Accommodation perfectly Located for the Town and Beach, and having the on site car parking included was a Great help as parking is very expensive and difficult to access.. I would certainly recommend this Apartment.

Idealy located on a quiet street, with a nice stroll into town or the harbour.. The appartment was spotlessly clean and everything you needed in the kitchen area for a lovely self catering break. Lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Great communication with the owner Mr Hague thankyou. Will deffo be booking again. 5* service. Kind regards. Happy holiday maker.

The apartment was amazing, exceeded all expectations! The photographs on the website don't do it justice, the lounge area and bedroom were far larger than expected but still really cosy - like a home from home. The only criticism I have is that with some of the ceilings and beams being low and with me being quite tall, I did bang my head a few times. Aside from that everything was perfect, the location was remote enough for both me and my fiance (he proposed in the apartment!!) as there was a 5 minute shortcut straight to the south bay beach. I wouldn't recommend this apartment for older couples as it can put quite a strain on your legs walking everywhere, but if like us you enjoy being active and walking about you'll do just fine. The apartment provided facilities to suit all needs although I'm not sure what use a washing machine is if there is nowhere to dry clothes (luckily we brought enough of everything to last). Will definitely be re booking next year!

We particularly liked having our own parking space. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is only a few minutes walk to the shops and town. We would most definitely stay here again and would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Apartment 6 is the perfect flat for two. The location was close to Scarborough shopping centre and the seafront was about a ten minute walk away. Off road parking was a bonus with a small local shop as well as a pub around the corner. The flat itself was lovely, beautifully decorated, clean and with all we needed.The bed in particular was very comfortable, the best we have had away from home. It was surprisingly peaceful for a flat in a large house and town location and the owners were most helpful.

Close to the beach and town, with a rare car parking space. The apartment felt like a proper sanctuary after a day on the beach or at the park. Somewhere to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The photos on the website really do not do the place justice. It is a lovely space. Scarborough is a wonderful town, with plenty to see and do, and just really enjoy yourself.

Comfortable flat, spotlessly clean and a short walk to town centre and South Beach. I had a very enjoyable time, lots to do in Scarborough all year round, a good mix of seaside resort and busy town with shops, cafes and amenities. Wonderful place to stay anytime of year! The apartment is lovely, newly renovated and decorated, the decor even managed to impress an errant Swede! It feels much larger on the inside than the photo's suggest despite the sloping roofs, and is a light, airy and comfy place to hang out. Very central in Scarborough and a few minutes walk to beach, but still quiet. Packed full of everything you might need for any kind of duration of stay. We would return!
