Arco Latino is a sober apartment that leans heavily into the neutral colour scheme. It’s not going to set the world on fire, but it doesn’t try to, and it’s a good size, given that there’s only one bedroom. You also have the chance to stay in an unusual part of Rome – Appio Latino has a rich history, and while there are only a few traces left of that, it’s a long way from the tourist trail.
Home truths: *There's no privacy between the beds
*It'll take at least forty-five minutes to walk into town, but there's a metro station nearby
*There's no dishwasher
*It can get quite dark in the flat
*Two people can sleep on a double sofa bed in the living room
