Lovely well appointed apartment, in an ideal location to explore Northumberland.. The only thing missing was the usual owners guide to the apartment and local facilities.

I recommend this apartment on the grounds that it is well equipped, well located (for moors and the coast) and very good value for money.. Overall, an unfussy and enjoyable week (single occupant).

Lovely appt.. The only thing that let it down was the carpet in the lounge....huge (2ft diameter) brown stain in the doorway to the bedroom. Very unsightly. Needs sorting. Other than that, great place to stay for a few days to explore the area. Lots to see and do. The Village Inn was friendly and served good beer and food. Corner shop (next door to the appt.) is a well stocked general store. Can recommend Green's butchers, up the road. Very friendly and the rib eye steak I bought from there (along with XL eggs and a large bag of pork scratchings!) was top notch. Just remembered.... couldn't find any dinner plates in the appt. Are there any that I missed? Only found tea plates. Had to pile everything on top of my steak to fit on the plate! Love this area of the country. Will be back.

Report from a previous guest suggested trouble with shower! We followed the instructions from the owner and the shower worked OK. Only quibble we had was the noisy lorry traffic on the main road all night. Which of course the owner can do nothing about. Otherwise the facilities were very good and the property very cosy and warm.

This is a lovely warm and cosy flat, in a nice village with good facilites.. It has a few niggles that could easily be put right. The bath towels are the smallest that we have ever come across in a holiday let and we go about 6 times a year. We had ongoing problems with the shower which the owner did come and look at but in the end we gave up after a few ice cold showers. The toilet just kept on running 24 hours a day. The fridge was in desperate need of a defrost and the blinds are very dusty. In the bedroom there is nowhere to put small items of clothing so had to leave them on the floor, a small set of drawers would help. The flat is well equipped but an information book about bins etc would have been useful.

My wife and I booked the apartment as we wanted to explore the local area during a break away.. The flat was really comfortable and was just right for our needs, it's great for a couple just wanting to get away for a bit. Amy was always on hand (she owns the salon below) should we have needed anything which was good to know. There is a lot to see and do within a short driving distance of Longframlington and the village has a bakery/coffee shop, pub and grocery store on the doorstep. The Village Inn has good food and ales, very friendly too. If we return to Northumberland then we would definitely look at booking again.

Lovely cozy apartment just right for our needs.. With darker nights closing in, views and outdoor space is not as necessary as in the summer, With so much to see in Northumberland this is ideal for a couple, with or without a four legged companion. With a shop, newsagents, bakery/tea shop, butchers and 2 pubs/restaurants in the village, you do not have to drive for your supplies and needs. Although parking is limited on the roadside, it is not usually an issue, especially in the evening.Would definitely return if looking to visit again at a similar time of year.

Great wee flat and Amy an excellent host always available either by text or when she was working in the hairdressers downstairs.. Lovely welcome gift of a couple of wee bottles of prosecco for us and treats for the dogs. Longframlington itself is lovely and a great base for exploring the northunbrian coast and the national park will definitely be back
