The town has something for everyone, with two theatres, shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars, while its maritime heritage is celebrated with a number of attractions such as the floating 'Mincarlo' museum on Heritage Quay or the Lowestoft & East Suffolk Maritime Museum, plus The Transport Museum, a 15-minute drive away, with its collection of old buses, trams, and other transport in which they give local excursions.
