Speaking of exploring, you’ve got plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, including Puerta del Sol (eight minutes), Plaza Mayor (nine minutes), Gran Vía (ten minutes) and El Retiro Park (fifteen minutes). You’re also just a one-minute walk from Calle De Las Huertas – a must-see for literature lovers – where some of the most famous verses of 15th and 16th-century literature are etched on its pavements.
