An Nead House is very spacious, clean and just a few metres walk/drive to the beach and Muckross Head.. The in-charge, Noleen is very friendly and accommodating. Though, they put in their listing that they don't have wi-fi but they do actually have Wi-fi, you just need to top it up. We really enjoyed our stay in the property, it's like having the comfort of your own house. We would definitely come back here if we'll visit Donegal.

We had a really comfortable and enjoyable time the accommodation was great and had everything we needed.. It is a very spacious house with great views and in walking distance of the beach. A big thank you to host and the cleaner.

Overall the house was good, there was an issue with the cooker the main oven wasn't working, the freezer needed to be defroster and there was food left in the cupboards from previous tenants.. The house its self was lovely and the location was great

The house does in no way correspond to the expectations raised by the web-page.. Some examples: 1. The garden is completely destroyed, only earth and ugly concrete blocks limiting on the left side. Concrete mixer and other building materials placed on the left side of the house 2. The photo hides that between the two houses there is an ugly rusty blue container placed such that you have plain view from the kitchen onto it 3. The kitchen is unusable for 12 people, even the advertised 8 adults maximum are largely exaggerated, they would not even find place around the table. This hous is suitable for 6 persons maximum and even that is difficult due to limited space in the kitchen 4. While the double beds in the first floor are ok, All beds on the ground floor (not only the bunk beds) are of bad quality and not really suitable for adults 5. There is no welcome at all, just a phone number which you can call with bad connection to learn where things like key, heating, ... are located 6. The interior was quite dirty (bathrooms, but also kitchen and equipment), has certainly not been properly cleaned since quite some time. Not mentioning dirty and hardly usable frying pans here 7. Just looking out of the window you will see 4(!) big red signs forbidding access to all the the roads - nothing to make you feel welcome in any way 8. Outside there is a bench to sit down, but nothing to allow you relaxing outside if the weather is fine. 9. Overall impression is run-down especially ground floor and outside All in all this house is, while the living room and the bedrooms on the first floor are ok, rather to be avoided. Do not even think of booking it if you are a party of more than 6 people or more than 4 adults.

The house was really great. Plenty of sleeping accommodation and sitting rooms (2) with views out to sea. Beautiful. The area was peaceful and there were a couple of small beaches within walking distance of the house. The kitchen was very good and proper and the cupboards were filled with basic food needs, eg, pasta, biscuits, sauces, flour, some tinned goods, cereals. Facilities for laundry etc. most appreciated. We had lovely neighbours in the wee house next door. There is not much garden, but you have all of Donegal on your doorstep! Great

The coast road to Kilcar was a lovely location, with views to die for.. The house was really comfortable and spacious and very suitable for a large group. The small local beach, Tra Ban, was within easy walking distance and an excellent place for the children to play in sand or water safely. We just like Donegal.
