A friend and I have just returned from a week in this barn conversion cottage in Beulah, Powys, mid Wales. We enjoyed our stay despite grey skies and heavy constant rain on most days! On a plus point, we felt the accommodation offered a good range of facilities. The beds were comfortable and the showers very good although from a safety point of view, there could have been a small grab rail within the cubicle - it was a little unnerving The windows were not the easiest to open wide but fortunately, due to the weather, we did not need to do that! We appreciated that it was a barn conversion but the interior was very plain, chilly and not particularly inviting - no nice curtains/blinds at the patio doors for example which I found rather strange. At least there were some colourful cushions!
