The property is ideally situated for exploring the popular market town of Brecon, with a wide range of independent shops and great places to eat and drink within half a mile. Attractions in the town include the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh, Theatr Brycheiniog, the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, a 1930s style cinema and the town s historic cathedral. Keen walkers and bikers can explore the surrounding countryside of the Brecon Beacons National Park, where there are plenty of opportunities for activities including canoeing, pony trekking and climbing. Landmarks and attractions in the park include Llangorse Lake (6.5 miles), Talgarth Mill (10 miles), Pen y Fan (6.5 miles), Tretower Castle (11.5 miles) and the Storey Arms activity centre (11 miles). This spacious and welcoming property offers a bright and relaxing lounge with plenty of seating, TV, DVD, a flame effect gas fire and a large selection of books, board games, toys and local maps. Additional lounge seating can be found in the games room which has a TV, DVD, Wii console, pool table and an upright piano. The large kitchen/diner is a pleasure to cook in, and is equipped with a larder fridge, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of preparation space. The dining table in the centre of the room is perfect for sharing a special family meal. The large freezer can be found in the nearby utility room. The ground floor also has a separate utility room for hanging coats and storing walking boots, and has a shower and WC. Going upstairs there are six light and airy bedrooms, decorated in calming pastel shades. Four of the rooms have en suite shower rooms: a double room, two twin rooms (which can be made up as super king size on request) and a room with three single beds. You will also find a further twin room and a family room with a king size bed and cot. These rooms are served by an additional bathroom with bath and WC, and a separate shower room with shower and WC, allowing each room to have its own allocated bathroom. Accessed via French doors, the spacious patio area has plenty of outdoor furniture and is an ideal space to enjoy a BBQ or a drink in the evening. Ample parking is available for four cars, and there s a secure area to wash and store mountain bikes. Please note that Brecon Rugby Club can be found on the opposite side of this quiet lane and occasionally hosts functions and live music events at weekends.
