The 1500 acre sand dune system of Newborough Warren is a National Nature Reserve and home to skylarks, meadow pipits, oyster catchers, toads and lizards. Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, and Anglesey Sea Salt are all within 3 miles of the village centre. The Anglesey racing track in nearby Aberffraw will make for an exciting day.
