Resting on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range is the bustling town of Beaumaris. Within the town, you will find a medieval castle, now a World Heritage site, which dates back to the reign of Edward I, a Victorian pier, a gaol and courthouse, along with being known as a major centre for yachting. Within close reach is Red Wharf Bay and slightly further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin.
