Talfan Cottage in Brynsiencyn, Isle Of Anglesey

Description
Holiday home
In a tranquil rural setting, this bright, attractive holiday house has been created by the tasteful conversion of an old barn. Much thought has gone into the design and with central heating, a cosy log burner, lovely fabrics and furnishings, Talfan Cottage provides a wonderful and relaxing home from home, whatever the Welsh weather throws at you! The long sandy beach at Newborough with its forest walks and broad sweep of dunes is close by. And at low tide, you can walk along the shore to romantic Llanddwyn with its sheltered bays, ruined church, lighthouse and old pilots' cottages. Popular tourist attractions such as Sea Zoo, Pili Palas (Butterfly Palace), Anglesey Sea Salt and Foel Farm Park are all just minutes away. There are both rural and coastal walks and cycle routes nearby to explore and all of Snowdonia is just across the Menai Strait. In addition to the wide selection of activities and attractions in this corner of Anglesey, there are also a varied selection of places to enjoy fine dining such as The Outbuildings where you can enjoy delicious food in a lovely and relaxed setting or The Marram Grass just outside Newborough, where the produce can be seen growing in the nearby fields. From the cottage itself, you can walk into the village of Brynsiencyn in about 15 minutes, where there are a pub and cafe. Hootons Farm Shop just on the outskirts of the Village is well worth a visit too, selling all sorts of homegrown and fresh produce and a cafe where you can get a tasty snack, delicious breakfast and even a traditional roast dinner on a Sunday. Menai Holidays are also based in the village where you can pop in to say hello - we always enjoy the opportunity to meet our lovely guests!
