The open-plan living space includes a kitchen housing a 2-ring hob, combi-microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge and a wine cooler, a dining area for two and a sitting area with woodburning stove and Smart TV. There is a king-size double and shower room with walk-in shower. To outside is a patio with hot tub and off-road parking for one car. Within 4.8 miles there is a shop and within 0.7 miles there is a pub. This property does not accept pets or smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Dragon Pod is a unique bolthole for two, whatever time of year. Please Note: the hot tub water is changed after every guest and can take up to 8 hours to heat up so may not be hot on the first night of arrival.

Penygroes is a delightful, quiet village around six miles from the old castle town of Caernarfon, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, with great scenic treks and mountain vistas easily accessible. The hamlet has a nice assortment of stores, cafes, and bars, and the surrounding area is full of restaurants and activities such as golfing, swimming, tennis, surfing, and horseback riding, to name a few. Plas Dinas Country House, which has a lot of history and houses The Gun Room restaurant, is also close by. Anglesey's and the Llyn Peninsula's beaches are around a half-hour drive apart, whereas Dinas Dinlle's beach is only a 10-minute drive away. Caernarfon Castle, which is close by, is well worth a visit, and there are also shops and cafes, as well as steam train rides. Portmeirion, which was featured in the TV series 'The Prisoner,' is also close by. The Welsh Heritage Centre, which features a licenced cafe at Nant Nwrtheyrn with spectacular sea views from its outdoor dining area, is only 8 miles distant. Beddgelert is a charming community bordered by the stunning Snowdonia National Park, complete with a fantastic arts and crafts shop and a number of pubs. If you're in the neighbourhood, you should pay it a visit.
