Y Bwthyn Ty Du is a beautiful semi-detached stone cottage set near Pwllheli in North Wales. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a king-size double and a twin as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. To the outside is ample off road parking and a front patio with furniture and lawned garden to side and rear. Set in wonderful surroundings, Y Bwthyn Ty Du can be enjoyed at any time of the year

This busy market town is the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula which is one of the most scenic regions of Wales, renowned for its outstanding scenery, stunning coastal walks, excellent beaches and golf courses. This traditional seaside town offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and an impressive marina holding 400 boats. The town boasts two beaches, one with the Blue Flag Award and is renowned for its sailing and watersports. Close by are Criccieth, with its medieval castle, and popular Abersoch, a pretty harbour town also renowned for its wonderful beaches and watersports facilities

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

SMART TV with Freeview, Blu-ray, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available, please bring own cot linen. Ample off road parking. Front patio with furniture and lawned garden to side and rear. Two well behaved dogs welcome, (downstairs only, and please bring own beds, blankets and towels). Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs, restaurants and beach 5 miles. Note: There are large gaps between the banisters, children to be supervised at all times. Note: Please be aware that there is an internal step between the sitting room and bathroom. Note: Unfenced stream/brook over path at the front of the cottage and the stream/brook runs through the lower part of the garden, children to be supervised at all times. Note: Check in 4pm

Beautiful cottage and setting.. Would definitely return. Really well equipped. Only issue is lounge seating. Comfortable for three but not four. We managed as my daughter was small. Next year we wouldn’t which is a shame because we would love to come back.

The cottage was advertised with Wi-Fi, I would recommend that this is removed as we were mostly without Wi-Fi during our stay at the cottage, we were advised on the Welcome Card that if we stood in the bathroom at the window we would be able to connect to next doors, Wi-Fi, not the best place to spend a Christmas break.. The kitchen was clean but poorly equipped, with only 3 saucepans and a frying pan, no serving dishes and a minimum of crockery, 4 small dishes and 4 small plates. The cooker was excellent. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the bed exceptionally comfortable, the small room was an odd layout but both beds were comfortable, all the towels were good quality and the décor was very tasteful, the only drawback in the lounge was that the seating was for 3 rather than 4 adults, a single chair and a settee (which was probably for 3 but wasn't large enough), as the flooring was tiled the option to sit on the floor for the 4th (unlucky) adult wasn't there, we had to bring the bedroom high back chair downstairs. The twin bedroom wardrobe smelt musty and if the door wasn't left open tainted the clothes that hung in there.

The cottage and surrounding area was absolutely beautiful.. The enclosed garden at the rear of the property was excellent for my daughter and dog to play in. The gorgeous coastal villages and areas of interest were a short drive away. We all had a lovely time and would love to stay again.
