Taliesin is a delightful ground floor apartment situated in Porthmadog. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double and a single, along with a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with single sofa bed. Outside there's a front, gravelled area with furniture and secure off road parking for one car. Taliesin is a wonderful base for exploring the harbour town of Porthmadog and this majestic part of North Wales. Note: The charging of electric cars is not permissible at the property

Area
The harbour town of Porthmadog is situated on the Glaslyn Estuary and offers individual shops and restaurants, and is home to the Ffestiniog Railway. Close by is the pretty village of Borth Y Gest and the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Sorry, no smoking inside or outside in the grounds of this property. Shops, pubs and restaurants 2 mins walk. Harbour/marina 1 min walk. Beach 2 miles. Note: The raised front paved area is private to Taliesin, the lower gravelled area provides access to neighbouring properties. Note: Access to keys on initial arrival at the property is via a few small steps. Note: The outside are is not enclosed so children and pets are to be supervised. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this cottage.Note: The charging of electric cars is not permissible at the property

We had the most fantastic weekend at Taliesin.. The apartment had everything and more than we needed and was extremely comfortable & clean. We could not believe the location. It is right in the middle of everything yet extremely quiet. It was perfect. There is so much to do & see, plenty of places to eat & drink and the locals were very friendly too. The coastal walk is a must. We will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment next to the harbour.. Lovely and clean, be aware there isn’t a dishwasher, I hadn’t realised when booking, otherwise there is everything you need. Perfectly situated on the harbour and ideal for a base to explore the area

It was in a very quiet area of Porthmadog and we liked the security of the car parking for the property. My husband also liked the under floor heating! We were very grateful to the owner of the property as there were a great deal of leaflets for places to go and visit. Also we like walking and there were books on walks in the area and books giving the really interesting history of the area, thanks for that!
