Snowdon View is a lovely semi-detached, stone cottage situated in the town of Harlech. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one adult bunk, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for one car, a front lawned garden and a raised decked balcony with furniture. Snowdon View is a delightful base for a couple or family wishing to explore this wonderful area.

Area
The small town of Harlech has a 13th century castle, which has World Heritage status, the famous Royal St. Davids course and quality restaurants. The whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk uphill and pub 5 mins walk downhill. Harlech Castle 2 mins walk. Beach 1 mile. Note: As the decked balcony is raised and as there are steps from the balcony down to the garden, as well as some uneven areas in the garden, please take care and children should be supervised at all times.

Made better by picking the hottest week of the summer, Snowdon View is what it says on the name sign, with commanding views over the Snowdonia range and within walking distance of one of the best beaches in the area.. Unfortunately for weary children and parents there is not a flat route back to the house in the evening. The facilities are excellent and I would be back again in an instant. My wife, who suffers from vertigo, is not so passionate about the idea, but I am working on it!

Superb stay.. Brilliant location. The cottage was just right for our size family. The kids had a fab time, having the swimming pool close by in Harlech was a real bonus on wetter days. Having said that there are plenty of sheltered walks through beautiful woodland locally, and the sand dunes are all the more atmospheric in the storms!

We had a wonderful stay at Snowdon View despite the changeable weather.. The cottage was perfect for a family of 4. We loved the character of the cottage and the clever storage solutions in each of the rooms. Our hosts recommended some places to visit and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a great stay here, convenient location and fantastic view of the mountains. If you don't mind the steep hill this is a great place to have a week away. Very conscientious and professional owner as well who rang beforehand to go through things. Highly recommended overall.

A well equipped , clean and comfortable cottage.. Good to have a parking space. Lovely views across to the mountains - weather permitting! I spent the week there alone and can recommend the peace and quiet if you're seeking for some time out.

There was a plumbing problem when we arrived, but the owners' handyman was already on the case and kept rechecking until he was happy it was fully fixed.. The owners were very attentive and apologetic with regard to this. Very refreshing to have such things promptly and closely given attention to. A very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped cottage - definitely more of a home than a holiday let.

The cottage was cosy and the decor very nice in a lovely setting right by the Castle with lovely mountain views (weather permitting). It was nice and peaceful yet close enough to the shop, pub and restaurants. A lovely beach close by and a great base for visiting other areas.
