Sealyons is a detached bungalow in the centre of Fairbourne. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms which are a double, a twin and a single. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars with additional roadside parking available. There is also a lawned garden with a patio and raised decking with furniture. Sealyons is a short walk from the beach and provides fantastic accommodation for a family holiday by the sea.

Fairbourne is a seaside village in the Snowdonia National Park, which nestles between the beautiful Cambrian Mountains and Barmouth Bay. This coastal village rests beside a huge sandy beach, perfect for family fun and watersports. It is also home to the Fairbourne nature reserve. The well-known town of Barmouth, with its pubs, restaurants and beautiful beach, is only ten minutes away by train, or why not take a leisurely walk over the well-known Victorian Barmouth Railway Bridge with stunning views of Mawddach Estuary.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Enclosed lawned garden with raised decking and patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pub 2 mins walk. Beach 4 mins walk. Note: There are 3 wooden steps down from the decked area to the garden, care to be taken and children to be supervised. Please note, property will be fogged between all guests. Please note: The pod on the garden is for the owners use only.

I can’t speak highly enough of our stay at Sealyons , we have visited Fairbourne many times but never actually stayed there, we were so thrilled to find this beautiful bungalow in such a fantastic little village. The bungalow was spotlessly clean , comfortable, well equipped and warm. The weather was a bit hit and miss as we’d expected for an April break, it was lovely to just relax in the bungalow when we weren’t out and about. It is so easy to walk to the little shops , the beach and the station, we used the trains a few times to enjoy the scenery without having to take the car. Train travel in this area is so easy and cheap compared to where we live . The locals were unbelievably friendly and welcoming , from the neighbours , shop keepers and people walking around, just lovely. There is a little chip shop in fairbourne we went twice as enjoyed them so much, they cook everything fresh to order , delicious. We used the washing machine in the bungalow and I nipped up to the laundrette a couple of times to dry the washing in the dryers , it didn’t take long and was probably about £4 in 50p’s - made it so much easier! The beach is clean and very sandy when the tide is out, super impressive to watch when it’s in! The sunsets are something else to watch! Lastly the hosts were so friendly and helpful and the little hamper we had on arrival was just lovely. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We had a relaxing short break at sea lyons. Location is perfect for beautiful scenery, a stunning pebble each, walks and great location for a short drive or train ride to Aberdovy and other towns. The bungalow is spotless and had everything you need. It was lovely to just sit on the deck appreciating the view, rabbits horses and the odd chicken who seemed very content sunbathing on the deck. We took a lovely walk to Barmouth taking in the most incredible view! A short Ferry ride bought us back to the small train stop for the beach train. . We chose to walk back however the train is loved by children. We also took the public train to Aberdovey for afternoon tea overlooking the golf course and stunning views of the Sea. Sea Lyons is perfect for families and couples, either for a relaxing break to unwind, or a great base to venture out to other towns either by car or train. We totally relaxed, however next time we will take the opportunity to take more walks. and visit other towns. SeaLyons worked perfectly for what we wanted. Would highly recommend.

Excellent facilities in the cottage and quiet location.. The garden was ideal for relaxing and sitting peacefully in the sun. We wanted a restful holiday and we chose a perfect place. The railway station nearby was brilliant for travelling to other towns. The sandwich shop in the village was great - fantastic food to reheat for evening meals. We walked into Barmouth over the bridge and had lunch In a lovely pub. The scenery on the road to Tywyn was stunning, it was a clear sunny day and you could see for miles.

We got back yesterday from a 3 night stay at Sealyons. It was one of the best properties we have stayed in & was in a great location near the beach. The decor of the bungalow is bright & modern & it is comfortably furnished throughout & very well equipped with everything you need to make it a home from home. A lovely thoughtful touch was the coffee, tea, milk, sugar, cake & wine awaiting us on our arrival. We had a great holiday & hope to be back again one day.

A great bungalow with everything you could need for a self catering break. The bungalow is spacious but cosy & is decorated in a bright, modern style. We were pleased & surprised to find cake, wine, milk & coffee/tea/sugar had been left for us & it was very welcome after a long drive. The property is near a beach & is ideally located for visiting other places in North Wales. Even though the weather was bad when we were there we still managed to get out & about & visited Aberystwyth, Betws-y-Coed, Llandudno & Anglesey & also a few other places. We had a great holiday & hope to stay there again.

Booking online was a really simple process.. The response i received was quick and very clear. I loved that i could check details by logging in and re-checking my info just before we left for our holiday. The holiday home was beautiful and had everything we needed. We have just returned from a brilliant week staying at Sealyons in Fairbourne.. The bungalow sits on a very quiet street just a few minutes walk from the beach. The bungalow is clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for the week - a home from home! The decking at the back of the property was lovely to sit out on in an evening and look at the views. Just around the corner, Fairbourne beach is beautiful with fantastic scenery. We also found many other beautiful places to visit for walking nearby. I would not hesitate in recommending Sealyons for your holiday. We had a marvellous week and did not want to come home! Thank you to the owners Dave and Lisa for our welcome gifts, a lovely bungalow, and for getting in touch to return our left belongings!

The bunglow was lovely and warm, modern and had everything home from home and more.. It was clean and comfortable. The are 2 shops, a chip shop, butchers and indian resturant close by about 7min walk. Also the train station is just past the shops for a convenient way to get to barmouth, although the walk is lovely through the track past the golf course and bridge takes around just over an hour. We would also recommend the miniture steam train which costs about £10 Adult and £1 child. Also blue lake is beautiful especially on a sunny day its a good walk and would need your walking boots on as it can be a little wet and muddy going through the tunnels, the views are stunning from up there. We also went to Bala lake which is again a lovely place to visit. I would highly recommend staying here if your wanting to be in the area is a quiet location great for kids as it has an enclosed garden, bored games high chair, cot, hairdryer pots pans alsorts of utensils for cooking including a slow cooker. We will be going back to Wales in the summer and would definatley book here again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Sealyons - it is suits us well because it is very close to our relatives.. The space in the bungalow is exceptionally well designed to be both pleasant and practical and the facilities are excellent. The 3-mile sandy beach at Fairbourne is delightful.

Very cosy and comfortable bungalow which was just right for our requirements.. Lots of thoughtful decor including pictures and photos of local area on the walls, cushions, bedding and ornaments that all follow a beach theme - all making it a welcoming and relaxing property. Lovely views over to Cadir Idris from patio windows. Easy walk to the sandy beach and beautiful sunsets to be seen from the sea wall. Worth taking your own kitchen things such as washing powder/liquid, dishcloth, dishwasher tablets etc, just in case there's none there. Also worth noting there's currently no dryer, but a drying rack .

Lovely bungalow in perfect place couldn't fault anything at all.. Map on sykes cottages said 2.15 hours from us but it was a good extra half hour, if it wasn't so far away we would be back again ASAP.

Lovely bungalow, clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would require.. Extremely good broadband speed (which would put many large cities to shame), important for modern day living, even on holiday. Ideal location for lots of walking or exploring the area by car or just spending hours on the sandy beach with the family or friends (weather permitting!!). Lovely modern holiday bungalow ideal for a young family.. Spacious property with a great garden terrace and vista of the snowdonia hills. 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the local station and mini railway. We would have no hesitation to stay again.
