We booked this trip quite late due to the Coronavirus situation.. The cottage is the sweetest, cosiest place and we would definitely recommend it.
It was spotlessly clean - not even a tiny trace of dog which can be a problem in dog friendly cottages and for this reason we would normally avoid them.
We had one day where, due to Storm Francis, we were unable to leave the cottage but we still had a relaxing day watching TV and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. My daughter loved having g a TV in her room!
There is a small car park nearby which we always managed to find a spot in. People do park selfishly though e.g. too close so it’s worth looking for an alternative. It might be a short walk but you can always find somewhere.
The area is lovely - we visited the Slate Mine, Portmeirion, the Bryn Arms, Swallow Falls and would recommend them all.
