Holiday home
Situated in the pretty village of Llwyngwril within the Snowdonia National Park is Brynteg. This welcoming dormer bungalow is light and airy and has an excellent living room, fitted kitchen with dining area and bathroom. Brynteg sleeps six and has three bedrooms - one first floor double with dressing area, another double and one twin. After a busy day exploring the area, you can dine and relax in the front lawned garden and the large rear lawned garden. Just three minutes' walk away are Llwyngwril's amenities and the beach is only five minutes' walk away. Brynteg is perfect for families and friends and the bungalow is in a perfect location for visiting many villages and towns and is within easy reach of many delightful walks and excellent beaches.

Mainly ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x spacious first floor double with dressing area, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Spacious fitted kitchen with dining area. Small pantry. Sitting room with log-effect electric fire.

Area
Situated within the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park and on the edge of the River Gwril is the delightful village of Llwyngwril. The village boasts a lovely pub, shop and cafe. There are many walks nearby and birdwatchers should head to the area's beaches to see many species of birds. For the more adventurous, the area offers superb climbing, surfing and cycling. A trip from Fairbourne, which has a stunning two mile sandy beach to the popular town of Barmouth on the narrow gauge railway is essential. The market town of Dolgellau, seaside village of Aberdovey and the magnificent Harlech Castle are all nearby. Llwyngwril is an ideal base to visit and experience many attractions, villages and towns at anytime of the year.

Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front lawned garden, plus large rear lawned garden with picnic table and hillside views. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub, tea room and shop 3 mins walk.A new farm shop Hendre Hall has been opened only 50 yards from the property, which boasts a cafe and also a wide range of local produce for sale - from bread, cakes and pies to meat and other produce. Beach 5 mins walk. Note: Although this is a no pet property, the owner's dog has previously been in the property, and as such, it may not be completely free of pet traces. Note: No Stag, Hen or similar. Note: Towels and tea towels are not provided at this property

The house was well equipped have not done self catering for a long time.. Due to coved situation we cooked at home. Everything you could need was in the kitchen. A real homely place in a beautiful spot. Owner was helpful when we spoke to him suggesting nice walks. A real welcome break feeling safe in all this madness

Brynteg is a spacious house overlooking Cardigan Bay.. The view of the sea from the front of the property changed every day with some fabulous sunsets in the evening. The local pub has been closed this year but the shop is just a short walk away. The owners had prepared the house beautifully and has every modern convenience. The shower and bathroom were excellent. We enjoyed our time there as there is so much to see and do in the local area. We visited Portmeirion, The Mach Loop [where we saw a Hawk jet scream through at low level], the local steam railway, Snowdonia and Snowdon, Harlech, and also enjoyed walks in the many local beauty spots with lakes and waterfalls. Staggered by the lack of traffic, excellent road network, and stunning scenery, this is a holiday for someone who enjoys nature and beauty rather than bright lights and night life. We found the local people friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you for welcoming us to your lovely cottage.

Bungalow first class plenty of room very relaxing beautiful views would definitely return and recommend.. Apart from the bungalow we had in Florida this is probably the best accommodation we’ve stayed in. But we didn’t like it we loved it

We loved Brynteg and would definitely consider going back in the future.. The location was perfect, in a lovely village with a park and beach across the road. Really beautiful place. The only thing that it could possibly improve on is to supply some hand towels and soap in the bathroom, the upstairs bed has seen better days and it had a bit of a musty smell (assuming it’s from the owners dog?) Overall we had a fab holiday and we are missing the rolling hillside and mountains already!

The bungalow was spacious, clean and well equipped, with the following exceptions : all mattresses badly need replacing freezer not working fridge shelves were broken - fridge needs replacing double glazing has failed on some windows and needs replacing back door very difficult to lock and unlock blinds would have been good on the upstairs velux windows lock on bathroom door would have been nice, also hooks somewhere for towels Would have been nice to have the heating on before our arrival (at the end of October) as the bungalow was absolutely freezing, and took a good 24 hours to warm up..

Bryteg is a holiday home but also a ‘home from home’ where you immediately feel comfortable and find everything to hand.. The beds were comfortable the heating and the shower powerful and hot, and we felt very happy staying there! It is a credit to its owners and we found it very clean everywhere on arrival. The Bungalow is well situated and has views of the bay from the lounge window - something of a great for us seeing the sea every morning as we live in the Centre of England - and from where we could easily check to confirm that the train was running, not that it didn’t even during the storms we experienced during our visit! The station is a ten minute walk and offers a very convenient and inexpensive service into Barmouth, £4 return, and the opportunity to travel over the Railway Viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary. A well stocked Co-Op is to be found next to the Station there also! You can take the train to places north in Snowdonia, such as Harlech and Porthmadog and south to Aberdyfi and Machynlleth - all in were in easy reach if you preferred to leave the car at home. We used Brynteg as a base for travelling on some of the “Great Little Trains of Wales”, one of which, the Talyllyn was a 15 minute drive away south based in the seaside resort of Towyn, where we spent a memorable day on “The Victorian Train” which runs on selected Thursdays in June, July and September. All in all, we found that the village was well situated for easy access to the surrounding areas, and the neighbours and locals polite and very friendly. The wide range of specially knitted knitted artefacts, displayed in many different places throughout Llwyngwril.

Excellent location for visiting attractions etc, brilliant bungalow more than exceeded our expectations.. A little moan though there were no towels or dishcloths, I dont know if this was stated on the description as we booked last min as our original holiday was cancelled by Sykes because of fault in original house. Other than that 1000% brilliant.

Bungalow with car parking driveway, situated on sparsely frequented main road between Fairbourne and Twyn and ideally placed for accessing scenic tourist spots surrounding the Cader Idris massif. Good views of the Irish Sea and the Lleyn Peninsula. Only five minutes walk to local pebble peach where sea otters and porpoises may be seen in the spring and summer of the year. Pleasant neighbours abut the property.

We enjoyed everything about our holiday and were very pleased with Brynteg and the village..
