Morfa Bychan, a charming community with a local shop, tavern, fish and chip shop, post office, and a top-notch 18-hole golf course, is only a short stroll from the magnificent beach at Black Rock Sands. The lively harbour town of Porthmadog, located on the lovely Glaslyn Estuary, is only 2 miles away. It has a variety of unique shops and eateries as well as the Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway, which let you ride a steam train through the breath-taking Snowdonia landscape. With its bars and restaurants, the nearby village of Tremadog, the charming town of Borth-y-Gest, with its cliffs and bays, and the well-known and distinctive Italianate village of Portmeirion, all within easy driving distance.
