It is a great base from which to explore the variety of activities on your doorstep. Located on the west coast of Anglesey, Trearddur Bay has so much to offer, such as rock pooling, water sports, golf and horse riding to name but a few.
Continue along the winding road, away from the bay, and you will find yourself at the impressive South Stack Lighthouse where you can challenge the 400 steps to the island taken by the keeper.
Accomodation Details Four bedrooms: 2 x king, 1 x twin with double beds, 1 x bunk room. Ground floor shower room with handwash basin and WC, ensuite with shower, loo and WC, family bathroom with bath, WC and handwash basin. Open plan living space, kitchen with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, Washer/Dryer, dishwasher and a large dining table with bench seating, a seating area with 3 sofas, electric fire and SKY TV with premium sports channels. Additional sitting room with sofa, beanbags, TV, DVD and various games. There is also an additional dining area. Enclosed gardens. Bench seating to the rear with a couple to porch chairs to the front.Outhouse with wetsuits, crabbing nets, buckets and spades for guests' use. Parking for 3 cars.
Area Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
