Barmouth is a lovely Welsh village surrounded by Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. This traditional seaside town has a large, sandy Blue Flag beach. The pleasant climate and variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants make this a great off-season tourist spot. Mount Cader Idris is a hiking, climbing, and biking paradise. Wildlife along the Mawddach Estuary, trout fishing in mountain lakes, Harlech Castle, St. David's golf course, and Portmeirion Italianate Village are all nearby.

Excellent accommodation, clean spacious with comfortable beds, and situated in the perfect location, the welcome pack is a nice touch and also the provision of a parking permit saved on parking fees. The beach 5 min walk, Fish and chip shop 5 min walk, Big co-op 5 min walk and other amenities on the doorstep. Barmouth itself is a beautiful place and I would definitely recommend a visit there.

We had an amazing time in Barmouth and the cottage we stayed in was lovely. It had everything in it to accommodate us and was very spacious. Everything in the cottage was brand new and very clean. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk from the cottage and is absolutely stunning. All very dog friendly also. We would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be planning another visit back.
