The peninsula is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a large part of the coastline is owned and managed by the National Trust. The pretty harbour town of Abersoch; Criccieth, with its medieval castle, and the wildlife haven of Bardsey Island are all close by. The magnificent scenery of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey are waiting to be discovered in this stunning part of North Wales.
