Hendre is a wonderful, detached cottage situated just three and a half miles from Ruthin in the rural hamlet of Llanynys. The cottage offers three bedrooms, including a ground floor double room, and a king-size double, and a twin room on the first floor. There is also a ground floor wet room-style shower room, and a first floor family bathroom. You will find a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area, and a woodburning stove. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and a barbecue, and off road parking for two cars. Hendre is a wonderful base for friends and families exploring North Wales, all year round!

Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x ground floor double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor wet room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar. Utility. Sitting room with dining area and woodburning stove.

Area
The pretty village of Llangynhafal is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a pub and double-naved church. Three miles away is the town of Ruthin and further afield are the North Wales coast, Snowdonia National Park and Chester.

Region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdoniain North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. High chair and cot provided, no stair gate in property. Enclosed lawned garden with summerhouse and patio, . Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Next to the owner's agricultural workshop.

The cottage owners kindly provided a basket of masks, wipes and other anti-bac sprays, etc.. This is something it would be good to see provided at all cottages at the moment as it gives guests confidence in going self-catering.

Hendre is an immaculate holiday cottage 5 minutes drive from Ruthin.. The owner (Ros) provided a lovely welcome tray with flowers and cakes, milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine! She lives across from the cottage so is there if you need her but otherwise leaves you to enjoy your holiday which is ideal. Plenty of towels and a washing machine and dryer - we honestly wanted for nothing - everything you need is provided The pony in the adjoining field must be the most photographed horse in Wales - our granddaughter was taking selfies with him! There is a pub/restaurant - The Drovers Arms a very short drive away which I recommend.

Our stay at Hendre was peaceful and relaxing.. The owner met us and as soon as she realised I was traveling with my elderly mother she got a shower chair for the wet room, which my mother greatly appreciated. There was a welcome tray with goodies and the house facilities were excellent. I would be very happy to stay there again.

Wow, what an amazing place! Photos don't do it justice. We've stayed in many holiday homes and this was by far the best. Spotless, cosy, extremely well equipped. The cottage is like a tardis, so spacious and all the furniture, bedding etc was very high quality. The bathrooms are beautiful, like a high end hotel. We stayed with our two sons who loves feeding the pony. Although in a very rural location it's only a few minutes to wonderful local pubs and shops in Ruthin. Already booked again for next year. Perfect.

Magnificent cottage, superbly equipped.. Beautiful tray of welcoming drinks and biscuits, together with a vase of fresh flowers. Owner most welcoming and came to check at end of first week, very helpful but not intrusive in any way, eager to ensure that we would enjoy our stay. We would very much like to return at some time.

A really good experience and a very warm welcome.. Owners were most helpful and even managed to rig up a ramp for the wheelchair user in our party. The cottage was very suitable for wheelchair use on the ground floor and we were able to hire a hoist locally. The accommodation was equipped to a very high standard and having a log burner was the icing on the cake. We had a lovely Shetland pony in the cottage grounds and the owners dogs were friendly and well behaved. The owners went above and beyond what is required providing us with a welcome tray, home bakes and fresh fruit. Ros also popped round with extra logs and a bottle of wine when the weather turned colder and asked were we okay. What a star.

Possibly best cottage we have stayed at.. Clean, well equipped and great location for the surrounding hill walks and attractions. Ruthin centre in 10 min drive, Denbigh in 15 min drive and coast only 16 miles away. Plenty of places to eat within 5 miles.

When we walked through the door we felt at home straight away. The pictures don't do it justice at all. Everything and everywhere was spotless. Everything we needed was there already, there was no need to take extras. We will definitely go again and for two weeks this time we loved it that much.

Stayed here for a week, the cottage is amazing and it is all done to a very high standard! The owners were friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful and good for exploring North Wales including some very nice mountains for walking! I would highly recommend this place for a holiday, you will find everything you need in the cottage and I would rate it 10/10!

Hendre is a beautifully renovated property with all mod cons and tasteful decoration. It truly is a home from home.
