Description
Holiday home
Plas Madog Isa is a unique holiday house, having won architectural awards for design, and we are delighted to be able to offer you the chance to spend time here. It sits in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the bustling town of Llanrwst, and enjoys dramatic views over fields towards the opposite side of the valley. "Plas Madoc Isa could be described as Retro but it is not quite - the house won lots of architectural awards and now is a wonderful, welcoming comfy clean house with amazing views." There is much to see and do, both in and around this picturesque Welsh market town. For food lovers, Blas ar Fwyd is a name synonymous with the finer things in Welsh food and drink - there is a delicatessen, a wine shop and a restaurant all on one road, and they are highly recommended. Nearby is Gwydir Castle, a historic destination well worth a visit. For those looking for a bit more action, the Treetops adventure centre is a must, if you can stomach the heights! Area
Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
