This really is an all year round destination. The spacious and attractive barn has a welcoming lobby, with interesting art work and plenty of space for coats and boots, opening into the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner flooded with natural light. Open the French doors, listen to the birdsong and step outside onto the patio area with wonderful views over the grounds and beyond. If you decide to eat in the well equipped kitchen area then you have everything you need to prepare a delicious romantic meal, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and washing machine, alongside many other little thoughtful extras creating a lovely space to cook in. Relax on the comfortable sofas, play board games, plan tomorrows activities and embrace the wonderful views. On chillier evenings, light the ready laid wood burner and watch a good film or lose yourself in a good book. Along the corridor, there is a comfortable double bedroom which leads to a stylish en suite shower room one step down. Up the private drive, past the owners home, the property nestles on the gravelled courtyard with superb countryside views. You can enjoy alfresco dining in the patio area with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and pretty borders with lovely views. There are also a number of shared spaces to sit and relax in the nine acres of grounds. Maybe picnic by the standing stones or at the top of the garden near the trees. If you are bringing your bike there is lockable storage and an outside tap with hose available. Plenty of outside space for your canoe or kayak. The shared, spacious, vaulted ceiling games barn is also accessible from the courtyard and offers a wide range of fun activities to enjoy, including Free View with large wall projection, darts, table tennis, slate bed pool table and high quality hi fi system. Ample private parking on site, within walking distance to the property. Please note that the path from the car parking area is quite steep. The owners have also wilded seven acres of the grounds to make a small sanctuary for wildlife with the creation of a large natural lake, new copses and wildflower meadows. Guests are welcome to walk around the lake but swimming and fishing are prohibited, but a wander through the wildflower meadow on a summer's evening is a real nature lovers treat.
