Bronwen Lodge is one of two stylish semi-detached cottages, situated on the outskirts of Conwy on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom with en-suite. The rest of the property contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburner. To the outside of the property there is off road parking for one car and a patio with furniture. There is also shared use of a large lawned area. Bronwen Lodge is an ideal romantic retreat for couples looking to explore the Conwy Valley.

All ground floor. One king-size double bedroom with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner.

Area
The World Heritage Site of Conwy is a centre of bustling activity including festivals and fairs, music recitals, art galleries and wonderful historical attractions. Conwy has some proud historic traditions including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October. World famous for its historical and architectural heritage, there is also a fabulous selection of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels to be found here. The town was built for King Edward I between 1283 - 87, and Conwy Castle is recognised as one of the most exceptional triumphs of medieval military architecture because of its distinctive, elongated shape, eight huge towers, two barbicans, and magnificent bow-shaped hall. Snowdonia National Park, clean sandy beaches and stunning scenery are all close to this fascinating town.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Patio with furniture, plus shared use of large lawned area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 5 mins walk. Note: There are two steps up to the en-suite. Note: If booked with Ref 937200, the ground floor bedrooms become through rooms. Note: Check-in time 4pm. Please note: This property only accepts bookings starting on Fridays or Monday.

Our third visit! Once to cottage and twice to the lodge.This is one of best places we have stayed in.Standards of cleanliness are high.Views are fantastic and the lodge is well equipped.Its very cosy with a log burner and a good selection of books.Walking back from town takes 10/15 minutes but it is uphill.Try the Mulberry at the marina for coffee near Morfa Conwy beach or nearby Bodnant gardens are always a treat.We will be back!!

One slight niggle which in the summer wouldn't be a bother but the TV signal was absolutely awful.. the reception was extremely poor. Possibly a new TV aerial is needed. We stayed here last year and this time stayed 2 weeks (June 7th to 21st.. ) A fortnight is too long without a washing machine which regretfully means a two week stay will probably be ruled out for next year. Everything else is first class and Mark should be commended for presenting The lodge accordingly. A suggestion. A additional step from lounge to rear seating area would make access a little easier.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Bronwen Lodge .. The cottage was spotlessly clean and so stylish. A lot of effort has been put in with the decor and it elevates the cottage above any others we have stayed in. There is plenty of kitchen equipment to prepare meals, should you wish to and the bed is large and comfortable. The only thing missing is a washing machine, but this is a small quibble. Finally, the view is absolutely spectacular! We would highly recommended Bronwen Lodge.

Bronwen Lodge was lovely and more spacious than we expected, with fabulous views over Conwy castle and the sea.. The outside was also lovely and well maintained, and the quiet and peaceful surroundings suited us. All facilities you would expect were available, from heating to oven to microwave to dishwasher. The only (small) quibble we would have is that the frying pans and the baking trays were in a very poor state, but otherwise we could not fault it and would hope to return before too long.

My wife and I have just come back from spending a week at Bronwen Lodge with our batteries fully charged.. The lodge is well equipped, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The position of the Lodge, in my opinion could not be bettered, with views to die for, (you have to be there to appreciate the view) and a five minute walk into Conwy. After a day's wandering it felt good knowing we had somewhere to go back to, where we could relax, enjoy a glass of wine and really chill out. Full credit to Mark the owner, he has got this property bang on the nail! We have already booked for next year! so it goes without saying we wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Bronwen Lodge.

Bronwen Lodge was exactly as described on the website.. We had everything we needed for our weeks stay. My only little critisism is that there was a lack of wardrobe space for us. Some may manage okay. Plenty of other drawer space. Anyway we managed by hanging stuff all over on hooks but not ideal for us as I say. Would definitely return and would certainly recommend the property to others.

Loved the lay out of lodge and the interior design was great.. . the view was great. Overall the lodge was lovely. Would have given top marks but was missing a few little things ie oven gloves, no where to put toiletries when in bath ,could do with a shelf in bathroom for ladies to put makeup. Also we would have liked to meet the owner but he was nowhere to be seen.

Lovely accommodation and great views of Conwy.. Location great because it was only a short walk down to the town and we enjoyed great views in the day and at night. Lodge had every facility that we could want. I was attracted to the lodge in the first place by the photographs on line. It was ideal and with the nice touch of fresh cut flowers. Bright and cheerful. Definitely strongly recommend particularly if you like walking coastal path. Got to know Conwy and really liked it. Maybe we were just lucky but everyone we met in Conwy was friendly. I would love to visit again and would book at Bronwen Lodge.

Bronwen Lodge was the perfect place for an escape to beautiful Conwy.. Clean, warm, with a phenomenal view over the town and the estuary - we could have spent days just sitting by the window watching the light change over the castle!
