Perfect small retreat for two with a dog, direct access to coastal path, half hour walk to Llangrannog with good pubs which serve decent food which overlook the lovely sandy beach.. There is a secluded sandy beach close by called Traeth Bach with a steep climb down but worth the descent! A little scrambling is required, not for the faint hearted.
Very warm welcome from the owner Mandy, who was very accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter break. The cottage has a small garden to the side, you also have use of a larger picnic area which is again great for letting the dog have a run around. The cottage has everything you will need, it’s very clean and modern with open plan to lounge and kitchen. It has 1 double bedroom with separate shower room with W/C which again is modern and tiled to a nice standard. There were some lovely touches tea and coffee sachets, shower gel and toilet rolls .. lovely in a self catering cottage and a lovely welcome card too! We will certainly return in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to other couples who enjoy walking.

Although first impressions were muted we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granary Cottage.. Plenty of walks, although we are less able these days but our young Labrador had a great time. Plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area, great for photography or birdwatching.

Even though it is situated adjacent to the Ceredigion Coastal path, The Granary was a very quiet, peaceful location with a great view.. This is the only place we have ever stayed that is quieter than our home (Cumbria) and we slept very well. Mandy, our host, was very welcoming and friendly. She also made sure that the location was well signposted which was appreciated. We were very comfortable and well catered for during the week in this cosy cottage and would definitely return.

The cottage was in a lovely location down a long lane, you could sit on the sofa an look across the field to the sea.. The cows were entertaining as they liked to look through the windows when passing. Cottage had everything we needed and our host was on hand, helpful and hospitable. It was only a half hour walk to the village along the cliff path. Local pub and fish and chips were great so eating out was no problem. You need to be aware the enclosed garden is to the side of the property so you cannot just open the door and let the dog out you need to walk to the side of the cottage and open the gate this was not a hardship for us but may be a problem with some dogs.A lovely spot and a lovely holiday I would highly recommend it.

It was everything I wanted and more.. This old cottage is perfect, you get the feel of the history whilst having the modern comforts. The location and views are out of this world. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a quiet get away. The sunset is breathtaking and you can see it all from your sofa. For myself and my dog this holiday was heaven and I will 100% be returning
