There are many notable buildings in the area, including a 14th century church, one of the oldest timber-framed building in Britain, and the famous Beaumaris Castle. The town offers a selections of pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area, with easy access into the expansive coastline.

We felt very much at home at Bryn Haf, a delightful holiday cottage.. The owner made us very welcome. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking outside the property was not a problem, and it was only a few streets away from the main shopping street. Beaumaris is a lovely little town with plenty of shops, cafes and places to visit. Not to be missed is a cruise to Puffin Island from the pier at Beaumaris. The cottage is an ideal base for touring Anglesey and just a short distance from Menai Bridge so easy access to North Wales.
