Description
Built in 1796, this red-brick townhouse is one of the oldest houses in New York City. While the exterior is a beautiful example of Federal architecture, the interior is all modernity with a sleek gourmet kitchen to please the fussiest of chefs and a huge main bedroom with a free-standing tub in the loft. Those working remotely can make use of the dedicated office room and there are additional workstations in some of the bedrooms. There’s plenty of room to spread out between the main lounge, the movie room downstairs and the private backyard furnished with a dining table.
Home truths: *All of the bedrooms are accessed by climbing some stairs, so this place may not suit those with limited mobility.
*The dedicated office room has an ergonomic chair, keyboard and monitor so is ideal for remote working.
*Your host can provide a cot for infants, just ask.
*There is no parking with this home, but having a car is not necessary. You're in Tribeca with many facilities and public transport within walking distance.
