We don’t think it’s possible to get closer to the water than this home, which takes the concept of oceanfront property to the next level. The two-storey layout, combined with the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, creates a light-filled, airy space with plenty of room to come together over dinner or spend an hour or two of peaceful solitude. Step onto the balcony, and you’ll almost feel as though you could reach out and trail your fingers through the glittering waters of Biscayne Bay. If you do want a swim, you haven’t far to go – the communal heated pool on the ground floor is the perfect place to practise your backstroke or enjoy a float in the sun after a session in the gym. Normandy Shores Golf Course and Miami’s North Beach are both within a ten-minute drive from home if you fancy a change of scenery. Still, we think your stay would be just as pleasant if you didn’t venture any further than the swinging wicker cocoon chair on your very own balcony, sipping a cocktail as the sun sets over the bay.
