Those who see being described as 'meticulous' as something to be proud of will adore this three-storey home in San Diego's North Park neighbourhood. Every component has been thoughtfully considered, from the manicured gardens upon entrance and the colourful modern furniture in the living room, to the sleek kitchen bathed in natural light from the windows running along one wall. Even the exterior is pleasing to look at, the clean lines and black panelling making it stand out as a pillar of modernity in the locale. That being said, you won't feel as if you're in a showroom, thanks to the bountiful amount of space dedicated to relaxation — our favourite has to be the balcony on the first floor that puts you at tree-top level. The location is superb, too. Balboa Park — which holds San Diego Zoo — can be reached in under fifteen minutes on foot, while you can drive to Coronado Beach in ten minutes.
