Chalet la Frêtaz

We were mostly lucky with the weather for ten days; the wind was often strong, and the mountain panorama was often shrouded in clouds. Our dog (a Bergamasco) felt extremely comfortable. Cons: The kitchen ventilation above the stove is mounted dangerously low, constantly hitting your head. The outdoor area, once covered with gravel, is overgrown with tall weeds and accordingly unkempt. The gas grill, including its brushes, was uncleaned, full of grease, and completely unhygienic.

We had a wonderful stay at La Frêtaz. Everything was beyond what we could have imagined. The chalet is superbly furnished and equipped, the view is incredible, and the area is perfect for hiking! We will definitely be back.

A lasting experience and relaxation

Beautiful location, beautiful and well-maintained house. Everything was there. No through road, the dog was able to roam freely around the house. The contact person was always available via WhatsApp. The key was left in a box at the house.

The house is superbly located and the interior is well laid out and nothing was missing. The terrace could be made a little more charming. The house was well cleaned, however the outdoor grill was not and I had to change the cylinder myself (with the spare found in the garage) because it had not been closed by the previous users, so it was empty. In short, very nice and to be recommended.

This was our third visit to this wonderful holiday home in Switzerland. The house, its location, and the town are simply enchanting, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired again this year. It never ceases to amaze me how people don't appreciate such a house and don't take proper care of it: we always bring our own dishwasher salt and rinse aid, and every time the dishwasher craves for these two products.

We have been here for the third time and were able to enjoy the magnificent view once again. In summer, when it is very hot, the height is also a huge advantage. The house is in a great location and equipped with everything.

This was the second time we stayed in this wonderful home and we had a great time again. The location and the house itself are just perfect for getting away from everyday life. If you want to enjoy absolute peace and quiet and pure nature, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
